I'm thinking that Ford may have discontinued BC, as evidenced by Ford's failure to push BC1.4 OTA, and refusal to provide any updates on the matter.

Hope I'm wrong, but doesn't look promising. Maybe @Ford Motor Company can set me straight!
I’m new to the electric Mustang I just purchased one today I can’t pick it up till Monday but I noticed on my window sticker it’s got the blue cruise 1.2 and on the Ford website it shows it as an option so I’m just curious if it’s gonna just work for three years and then you have to resubscribe or if it’s underneath the window sticker as a functional Item will it always work

It's a subscription. 3 years before it stops working in your case.

Thanks that’s just weird that it’s part of like lane departure on my Nissan and prop pilots which just comes with the vehicle. With the Nissan if you don’t renew the Nissan connect you can’t start the car from your phone but you can still use your key fob to remote start it so They’re all kind of crazy I guess

If it's a 90 day trial (2nd half 2023s), it says so right on the sticker. Otherwise, it's 3 years, then $2,100 (current price) to extend for 3 years, or $800 a year, or $75 a month.

Wow, that’s a lot of money. As long as the cruise control works. I probably won’t renew lol.

I haven’t read up on that program too much, but that basically lets you drive the car hands-free like a Tesla?
No, better. SAFER.

Hands-free yes. I’m not sure if Tesla is hands-free.
I guess what I mean is basically drive itself like when Tesla first came out, you saw the TV news, people sleeping, going down the highway that kind of thing on another note their general I sent you a chat I wanted to ask you a question about the power supply

Ford includes a eye/face monitor (unlike Tesla) to make sure your eyes stay on the road even if your hands don't.

A few weeks ago, an OTA update broke BlueCruise for some older models - like mine. I just took my '22 ER AWD to the dealer last week and they said they had a service bulletin indicating that a new update would come out next month which (supposedly) would fix it. That might be your issue.
If you disable then re-enable lane keeping, you might see a "Driver Facing Camera Fault". That would confirm the problem.

If it’s a Job 1, your BC likely expired at the end of 2023 (but can be renewed for $600 for another 3 years). If it’s a Job 2, you would have paid for 3 years as part of the purchase price.
I renewed my Job 1 subscription on January 3. It shows that I have BC through 2027. BUT, I don't have BC working on my car. So I am out $600.00 and have no idea when they will fix it via OTA. Right now i'm screwed.
