I checked on the Early Access website and saw we got the invite too. Next, waiting for the activation step.

I just signed up too. Hopefully it will be available to us in a day or so. Driving from TN to MD to pick up our granddaughter. Would be great to try it out on this little trip

I just received an Early Access invitation to Blue Cruise.

I got the e-mail but the "Sign Me Up" link

BUT, the link in the "Sign Me Up" button, I get HTTP Status 400 - Bad Request:

On the phone with Ford for about 25 minutes now and the person on the other end can't find anything related to the issue.


FOLLOWUP:

The link does NOT work in Google Chrome! After a long discussion with Ford it was suggested to use a different browser. I Tried Microsoft Edge and the link worked. I am now singed up for BlueCruise early access.

Awaiting the next step.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see the value for $600. The intelligent cruise control and lane centering are pretty impressive as is. Now if I could recline the seat and take a nap while it drives, then I would gladly fork over the extra money. Hands-free cruise control, not so much...

This makes me think that I may not end up ponying up the $600 for it so soon... I don't make that many trips up or down 81, so I'm not sure of it's value.

Do we have any evidence that IACC works based upon “GPS”?

Yes. There's an area out near a Military base near here where a couple of years ago the speed limit was 35. That was changed after some changes to the base entrance. The speed limit there is now 60. The Mach-e, Ford Raptor, etc all slow down to 35 at the spot the sign used to be. There is no speed limit sign there now.

If the reports Im seeing are true (Bluecruise telling you to grab the wheel on turns the ICC is fine with), Bluecruise might even require more interaction.
