No because you're not hardly ever actually using the brakes. The pad compound is likely a very aggressive metallic/semi metallic as a result of the expectations that we need our brakes to work well stone cold. I suspect there are also some factors at play with the suspension design and noise abatement that wasn't really focused on.well that sounds like a good and bad scenario, as I hate the grinding. It must wear out the rotors sooner no?
FWIW you're hearing it in the car as the noise travels through the body...but I had my kid listen for it outside of the car and she couldn't hear anything abnormal..
