He corrected himself earlier in the thread.
Thanks. He must have replied to someone who has me two way ignored. Worst feature of this forum.

But even then we still have others saying P&C. So just to set the record clear, P&C is only available on GreenLots and EA.

You have me thoroughly confused. EVGo isn't part of Plug & Charge. So, am I just reading this wrong?
You should have seen a few posts below I corrected myself. P&C did not work, but rather the BlueOval Network.

Yes @RSH informed me, but even then I was still confused because it's a reply to no one. So it must be a deleted post or someone who has me 2-Way ignored. In it's current context without explanation I stand by my confusion, but it's all cleared up. There's still people who think it's P&C, but we can move on to better things now, like key fobs, PaaK and 5 seconds.

Let me talk to you about my cold weather range today...

Wanted to chime in and say I prefer EVgo over any other charger I have used. 95% of my charging is done at home (on solar) but when I am out on a long trip where I need to charge prior to going back home, I look for their chargers (and there are many in Nor Cal). They have been very reliable for me and usually average around 100 kWh but have seen as high as 148 kWh. I have an account with them so I plug in, open their app and start the charge. I had to charge today in Millbrae close to SF airport and it was $.38 per kWh with no session fee. I averaged 118 kWh while charging.

Has anyone else had trouble charging at EVGo DCFC stations? I consistently get a charging fault and noticed on Plugshare the two stations have worked fine for all cars EXCEPT for MME. I have tried numerous times using my credit card (not their RFID card, but I don't think its the payment format that's the issue).
yes, I’ve had this same problem at evgo charge stations wasting a lot of my time .

I’d like to also mention that Blink chargers also fall into this category. However, I somehow got one to work today and I haven’t been to a dealer since my purchase so I didn’t get any of the dealer only updates. Worth mentioning that I also have a Blink card and am a member, so I didn’t have to initiate the charge with the app or anything.

Common problem is the plug sagging and losing signal, and trips, I got a monopod with a V- stand, this happens with greenlots too.

I'd blame the charging infrastructure, not Ford. I'm planning to do the same trip as you, 245 miles. Hopefully, I won't have bad luck like you.

Mario and Jessie ....cute how EvGO names their charging stations (I know, it's the little things).

Your main issue here is your lack of knowledge and awareness of the charging network. Had you done research, you would know that you should target Electrify America locations, not EvGo. You should have planned your route with alternate stops, and used PlugShare to read reviews of each charging location. And you should have found out about the free charging hours at EA.

This is 100% on you.

Eh, I’d expect all chargers to actually work though, not be completely incompatible, I don’t think that’s Ford’s fault though.

I think that’s pretty harsh. Especially for a new buyer. EV buyers shouldn’t still be dealing with so many DCFC compatibility and reliability problems in the year 2022.

I see a new EVgo DCFC was recently installed in the KC area. Even after checking PlugShare, I have no idea if it will work with the Mach E. And it could depend just as much on what software the MME is running. So I guess we could call every charger company on a planned route to check on compatibility in advance, but even that doesn’t guarantee anything. This remains both a massive PITA, and also a massive impediment to broader EV adoption and I don’t think we should be making excuses for it.
