Reading these responses gives insight into the functioning, or not functioning, of the human brain. Pretty wild [sarcasm font] logic[/sarcasm font] used by some. Reminds me of when to change your oil threads elsewhere.

I charge to 100% at work all the time. But I am leaving work within 10-30 minutes of achieving 100% and I then use 10-12% to get home so I think it’s no big deal. I have avoided charging to 100% and just leaving it overnight. I think it’s leaving the battery at 100% for a long time that is harmful. If you charge to 100% and then shorty leave after you hit 100% it’s not bad at all for the battery. Likewise it’s not a good idea to leave it below 20% for more than a day or so.

The oil viscosity threads are the best :)

We charge to 85% about once a week. 90% in the winter.

You've gotten a lot of good replies - but know this:

Percentage is part/total. It's meaningless unless you know what either the part or the total is. 5% of 100,000 (5000) is much bigger than 50% of 100 (50).

In this case, Ford "saves" the top 10% of the battery's physical capacity, so assuming a 91kW battery, that means you never see the "top" 10% = 9.1kW. So your usable capacity is 91kW-9.1kW = 81.9kW. So, at 90% indicated on the GOM (Guess-O-Meter), you will really be at 81% (81.9kw *.9/91kW) of physical.

So charging to 90% indicated is really 81% actual.
The buffer is evenly split top and bottom of SOC.

I charge to 100% for each charge, but I only charge twice a week.

Sunday night, drive to work a few times and charge again either Thursday/Friday and have the weekend with a full tank of electrons.

/park/charge in an alley, don't need my cable out there to tempt the tweakers.

My car is now just over 2 years old. Charged to 90% daily pretty much every day, preconditioning also every morning.
State of health reported at 99%, no degradation.
About 30 DCFC sessions.

Keep it plugged all the time on 110 volt in my garage. consistently get over 300 miles on 100% charge in the summer months on my MME GT. No degradation thus far, car 1.5 years old.
