Ever since my 2021 First Edition got update 6.1.0 on 09/29/2023 the clock won't stay set. It might just be a coincidence that this started happening when I got that update, but every time I start the car, the clock is set to a new random time. I have set it to the correct time a few times since the 6.1.0 update was applied but it keeps changing to a random time.

Has anyone else had this problem? It's annoying but not so much that I want to waste time with a trip to the dealer unless I know there's a fix available for it.

As Gimme_my_MME mentioned above, check to make sure the Clock is set to Auto update. When I updated both cars to 6.1.0, it changed the clock setting to manual and I had the same issue.

The concept of a clock is a new, complex challenge for Ford

Thanks! That solved it. However, @Ford Motor Company you should investigate this bug. The clock should stay set across power cycles even if "Auto Time Update" is off.

I had this issue in my 2017 Focus RS and it was annoying. Happened right after a Sync update and never figured it out. Luckily the next Sync update fixed it. Might want to try a master reset and see if that helps. My sync updates were "unofficial" so I always did a master reset after upgrades and that may have been what actually fixed it.

Mine has been going into 24 hour mode after some updates. I changed it back to 12 hour and auto update. It went back to 24 hour a couple more times, then eventually stayed at the 12 hour setting. Annoying, mostly because finding the settings takes longer than I like. Not a big deal as others have said, just kind of silly.

After an update the clock did not work, so I also set it to Auto and problem solved.
