I don't believe that is correct. If it fails due to a defect, it will be covered for 36/36,000. If it fails from an impact, it's not covered the day after you bought it.
The windshield is only covered 12/12k. The glass roof isn't specifically called out in the warranty though, so may be covered for the full 36/36k if there's no impact damage.I think the 12/12k is only for wear and tear items like tires, brakes, etc. I can't see the glass, if it is defective, being limited to that, but who knows nowadays...
