Um, …, I think it looks better than almost all of them - at least in the price range, and that includes the Ionic5?. There is the Porsche, sure, but I could buy 3 MME’S for one of those, right. But in comparison to other EVs, it is hard to imagine why people would go to Mach-E if they had another EV already as Mach-E does not excel in any particular category.

I agree, Mach-E does look better. But did you actually drive the Ioniq5?
My point was, Mach-E
- does not drive very well (comfort, handling) compared to competition
- does not charge very fast (Ioniq has 240kW peak charge rate, which does make a difference and I made 6k miles in 4 months with that car)
- does not impress with HW quality (your experience might be different, but my car was in the shop like 6-7 times in 3y and 25k miles. Right now I am waiting for a door to be replaced because the hinge had catastrophic failure (??))
- SW is not great. As much as I like BC, the responsiveness of the screen and the under-utilization of the front display are subpar to other brands
- SW update policy and communication remain a mystery to me after 3y of ownership
I would never buy it, but the GM platform is very capable in comparison. Hyundai with 700V platform is remarkable in charging performance, especially for the price. BMW has unbeatable quality in the segment, I leased 2 of their EVs and never a single issue.
And regarding price, other brands lease much better, can have higher MSRP car for same monthly.
Overall, it's an OK car, but not more. Beautiful though.

I would never buy a GM product because it doesn’t have Apple CarPlay
