S23+ user here with problems. At least I know it's not me and it's not worth reinstalling Ford Pass or removing/readding PAAK. I used my backup code a few times before I started using the fob again. When I no longer see the notification "Phone As A Key trying to connec to your vehicle" shows and it says it's connected, I'll stop carrying my fob.

Since buying the car I'm now using the key fob for the first time. It's not so bad it does work 100% of the times so that's nice. I will wait for Ford and Samsung to work out the problem.

Same exact problem. After update this weekend, PAAK won't work. Using Fob until they do a fix. Spoke to Ford Support today, they claim they know about the massive bug and are working on it. Seems to be only on Android phones according to them. . . I asked the lady if all the programmers were apple phone people and she started laughing, said "maybe". Oh, and I have the Samsung Ultra 23+ phone. Sigh.

If only I could remember my passcode.

Good thing I am at home this week. I have been driving without the fob lately and I would have been beyond pissed off if I got stranded over this. I am sure there are many who have. WTH.

I have tried every setting on my phone that might impact this - no dice. I rebooted my phone. Nope. It looks like I will be carrying the fob everywhere now. Bummer.

FP will not connect at all, so it isn't just PaaK. I cannot drop the windows, or use any of the other features that require Bluetooth.

I can remote start it, though, since that does not require Bluetooth. I did that when I was sitting in the car, trying to get it to detect my phone, and then when I opened the door the alarm went off. LOL.

Since the update I've noticed other bluetooth issues since I stopped using PAAK a year ago. I noticed that my music or audiobook would randomly stop or skip. Usually when I "turn off" the car the radio would still run 10 mins before turning off as long as I dont open the door. I would finish up the chapter on audio book or song. But now it would playing then disconnect and cannot find my phone after 30 secs or 1 minute but radio would still be on. Yes I am on S24U so it may be a samsung thing...

I am glad is not just me then! PaaK stopped working the other day and it coincided with the latest phone update - Security Patch Level: December 1, 2024 on a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Did a Ford app reset/reinstall a couple of times to no avail.

Back to carrying a key again!

Anyone else having issues with Bluetooth connectivity after updating Android this month?

My OS updated this morning after driving to work. Go out this afternoon and PaaK will not work. I restarted my phone and BT connected and Android Auto works just fine. Get home and attempt to start the car again...same thing, phone is "connecting" and will not start the car. Restart again, connects long enough to start the car and then "connecting" again. AA works the whole time, phone shows BT connected to car, nothing else affected except for automatically unlocking and then starting the car. Really frustrating and almost got stuck at work this afternoon. Pics below of FordPass screen and Android info.

Nice to finally have an answer to my all the problems. I needed to charge to 100% and couldn't change the setting in the app. even. I can't seem to override it in the car either. I am just stuck on so many settings

Hmm. Not sure that should be affected by the Bluetooth issue. Certain aspects of control such as remote start are network based and work outside of BT range. I was just able to adjust my max charge % via the app and I'm definitely out of BT range.

That could be a symptom of a different issue.
