Delayed delivery date now moved up (sooner)

My #6xxx res was supposed to get here to NorCal in about a week- delayed to end of March. Remains to be seen how many, if any, later California customers will leapfrog us night of reveal reservation holders.

I’m sad. If this thread is true, then my super early reservation # (4000’s) and low order number will be skipped over. My car seems to be sitting at the Kansas Speedway. I was supposed to take delivery this week. I can confirm that as of last night anyway, none have been delivered to my area (San Diego)

Probably because there are still a few cars sitting around the plant that need to be shipped. Its likely just in line.

I'm guessing it's more than "a few". I doubt they ever got fully caught up shipping out the backlog of thousands sitting at the plant. I suspect there's still probably a few thousand there. Just an ongoing backlog, and probably will be for some time (I'm guessing).

I remember the first sticker I saw was blue but now its green so go figure.
Rt 1 edition, early order in Dec-19 low 3k order number.
Destination: Southern CA - about as close to the MX plant besides San Diego...
Was on a train and although originally said 2-8, was updated to 1-23 and the dealer had called to confirm that it was close. I asked about his dealer models if they were expected in before mine and he suggested they would be in just before and would call when they arrived.
Got the email and date hasnt changed since.

I have some connections in Dearborn and will be asking for clarity on a conference call on Thurs.

Still no email from Ford, but my dealer CALLED me to let me know they were having delays. I mentioned that I saw mine has shipped/was loaded and it had an eta of 2/9. She logged in and was excited to confirm that I was right. Let’s hope things speed up/stay on track for everyone!

It will take 2-3 weeks "in production", because that encompasses when they start doing the paperwork until it ships.

Same here. I’m supposed to get one tomorrow from my Dealer. Nothing On the tracker whatsoever in terms of production date, my Ford account or the Ford Vehicle tracker. Only news I’ve gotten is from my dealer when I follow up.

No email from Ford yet, but Ford order page updated. (Tracker has not) Looks like a little less than a month.

You are in good company. 12 days has gone by and still no shipment. Issue with that first batch of the new year? Original build week was 12/20 and we have the same 1/8 date.

I am in N CA, too, and also ordered the night of the reveal.

I think that the "quality control issue" is being worked on by region...they'll do all the cars bound for one area, and get them out of the railroad yard. Then work on another region. We can only cross our fingers that N CA is sooner than later.
