The original target date for OKTB was right at the cusp between FCTP and customer units, and probably still a mix of both. That would have meant very few customer cars would have been built and most of what went out first would be FCTP. The longer OKTB was delayed, the more customer cars were ready, thus the shift.It makes sense, but then again, it made sense from the very beginning too since nearly all MMEs have pre-order customers. Yet they built most of them first. So it's a bit of a dichotomy.
It never made any sense to me to prioritize FCTP's over customer units when 10's of thousands of customer orders already existed for people anxiously waiting for a year.
