For a coupl;e weeks I've been meaning to ask if anyone else is seeing greatly reduced mileage range. I used to always get about 270. Then in the last month it dropped to around 215. Cold weather? Battery going south so soon!
Then this morning I get a Ford update 3.6.2 to improve the accuracy of Distance to Empty. When I just checked, it's saying 295 !

Yes, depending where u live you will lose 20% plus. Do you drive 55 max, answer no, mileage goes down.

Not anyone else, EVERYONE else.

First, your car adjusted to cold weather. Then, Ford updated the algorithm to be more accurate in cold weather, and reset it. It will gradually creep back down to reflect cold weather.

There are literally dozens of posts like yours.

You won't get more range, they just made the range guess-o-meter more "accurate", which going by Ford's software quality likely means they just slightly moved some numbers around to make you feel good (and probably broke some other shit in the process).

It might take a while but those numbers will come back down to normal as you drive. Just don't go wild on long road trips because you have 100+ miles on your battery overnight. Just treat it as you would your phone, see how much % you use in a day and charge when it makes sense based on your daily usage.

Same here but in Florida and weather is now warm again. now it also charges the car to 100% even when Ford Pass and car show 80%.

improvement? Nah, was happy the way it was , seemed pretty accurate before and my car charged to what I wanted it to.

Your battery is dead, better go to the dealer and get the new extended range one.
