Everytime I get into my vehicle, an error message pops up in my display " Door Fault - Service Required". I alerted my dealership but are unable to explain the issue and are reaching out to Ford.

All my doors work, lock and unlock, Frunk and Trunk work fine, power trunk works fine. Have no clue what this means and neither does the dealership.

The dealer needs to have it in the shop to look at the diagnostic codes. They’re not going to be able to do anything without that info.

Do you know if the dealership checked for any module updates? There was an update for the door modules a bit back

I have the same error. Service department said it was an intermittent fault in my rear passenger door sensor. They ordered the part, just waiting for it to come in.

Bullshit. They just looked at your software updates tab on the sync screen I bet. Someone here will be able to tell if you actually have any modules that need to be update d

I'm having the same issue. Maybe a little more though. Our passenger door started actually opening itself after we stop and turn off the car. There are no options that I know of that will actually open the door for you...that stopped after about two weeks and now every time we start the car we get the door fault warning. Called local dealer and they are a month out just to bring it in...now every once in awhile while it is charging at work we'll get a security alert saying the car door was just opened! Check and the doors are closed and locked...Definitely seems to be a sensor issue. @Ford Motor Company , maybe this is something you all are seeing on a regular basis? Doing some searching you see this a lot.

This does not seem safe at all.

Thank you for checking. Is there a way for me to schedule these OTA? I have it scheduled biweekly in the evening, or are these items that need to happen at the dealer?

No, you won’t get them OTA until Ford authorizes your VIN to receive them that way. If you don’t want to wait for that, you’ll have to go to your dealer.
