Funny you posted that. Walked out to my car in the dark garage the other day to get my wallet. ONly had my phone with me, no fob. So that light did not come on; and I looked like Demi Moore in the movie Ghost looking for that button.i do some Uber with mach E
Passenger aways ask how to open the door, but at night it is worst. They dont see the buttons.
I would like to have the door light button light up at night when i put the car on park.

A cool feature would be a button on the display that you can press to pop the rear passenger door open. Of course it would only work while in park, but that would also solve your problem.i do some Uber with mach E

There is only one way you can illuminate the door pushbuttons while sitting in the car. Turn the car off and push the unlock button on the FOB. While this might not be the ideal suggestion, it is the only one that works. It is actually very easy, fast and simple. You keep your fob in the cup holder, pull up to the passenger. turn off your car (your headlights stay on and your interior lights now come on) grab your fob push the unlock button and the door pushbuttons light up.i do some Uber with mach E

Has anyone tested if you just push the unlock button in the car, not on the fob, while in park if it lights up the button? I'd assume in drive it doesn't light up, even when pressing unlock, but maybe in park? There is only one way you can illuminate the door pushbuttons while sitting in the car. Hey, let's not get crazy here!Has anyone tested if you just push the unlock button in the car, not on the fob, while in park if it lights up the button? I'd assume in drive it doesn't light up, even when pressing unlock, but maybe in park?
They will not light up pushing the unlock button in the car. Like I mentioned the ONLY way they will light up is by pushing the unlock button on the key fob.Has anyone tested if you just push the unlock button in the car, not on the fob, while in park if it lights up the button? So you've tested all other scenarios? I thought opening your door made them illuminate too. They do not light up. Like I mentioned the ONLY way they will light up is by pushing the unlock button on the key fob.
Opening the door does make them come on but that might not be safe. I have tested every other scenario I can think of. It is part of the welcome lighting circuit which is activated by using the key fob's unlock button. So you've tested all other scenarios? I thought opening your door made them illuminate too.
Ah, okay. I guess controls in the car would be pretty sweet to pop open doors!Opening the door does make them come on but that might not be safe. I have tested every other scenario I can think of. It is part of the welcome lighting circuit which is activated by using the key fob's unlock button.
I agree but you would need a button for each door. I personally think just putting the car in park should activate the lighting in the door buttons just for this purpose of picking up passengers at night.Ah, okay. I guess controls in the car would be pretty sweet to pop open doors!
