Driver ID -- log in screen only takes numbers?

Add me to the list. Yesterday I got the Driver ID login screen also. Apparently has to do with fleet mode. Noticed that some F-150 owners have gotten this too. My Apple CarPlay does work wirelessly and nothing seems to be affected except the annoying Driver ID Login that pops up every time I start the car.

Does not sound like many but a few of us. You still have control of your privacy settings (conductivity) or are you also sending data to an insurance company that is locked and can not be toggled off? All is working here also except the OS is constrained like you are a user not the owner on mine. Not being able to turn Wi-fi projection on is one of the more noticeable constraints. That and fordpass is locked at the location the update occurred.

Understand they have determined it is a problem and are working on it. Let us know if/when yours gets fixed.

I HAD non of those problems. I was able to toggle insurance on and off (mine is always set to off) and Wi-Fi projection was on and I was able to toggle that too. My Ford Pass is not locked at the location of update.

HOWEVER, I no longer have the Driver ID Login showing up on my display when starting the car. Within the last hour it has been fixed.

Glad to hear, and I don't mean to rain on your parade, but since this issue started 5 days ago, there have been multiple times that I've driven the car without the Driver ID login being displayed (or at least I didn't see it).

Based on your post, I was hopeful the problem had been fixed, but I'm still seeing the prompt to sign-in along with the FordPass, wireless projection disabled, and insurance reporting option lock out problems.

I understand. I will see what happens in the next few days. As I said before, I had no issues with any settings for Sync or Ford Pass, just that Drivers ID Login which for the time being is gone.

I've been led to believe the sync and driver ID settings are two separate issues, but they occurred around the same time for me - pretty much coinciding to the latest update to Ford Pass.

We definitely have the same bad install. Were you complaining about departure this may have been our fix? Pretty sure there was no reporting my driving to insurance there before. I am not sure how it can be toggled off or why it would remain if it is fixed?

Mine most likely was a car update that did not go as expected just like we have been informed. It happened when I was out and within range of one of Fords cell providers as many of my updates happen. Worked fine with the new Fordpass until then.

I didn't have any problems setting departure times prior to these problems occurring. For me the problems with departure time and SOC updates in Ford Pass seemed to coincide with its latest release. The error with departure time was a lengthy timeout and with message "Sorry, Ford Pass is not responding, try again later." I didn't realize that this was not an FP issue but a car issue until the Driver ID prompt started appearing and it was reported in this thread.

In my case, insurance reporting is off and is disabled.

I have a similar issue, car now wants driver ID / has message driver not logged in, and won't sync with app- Is there any fix to this? Android auto also working funny now-

No fix yet. Ford is aware of the problem. "They're working on it." I'm not holding my breath, but will post here if and when it's fixed for me.

I have the same issue. The vehicle now wants driver ID / has message driver not logged in, and won't sync with app or car play.

Oh you mean thru fordpass (FP) not just not working at all. Nothing working in Fordpass here right now. Paak and the top row (start lock/unlock) are working here but it appears there is not much communication with the fords server right now (none) so things that need that like departure schedule, charging info, car status refresh in FP will not work.

I am at doing it in the car. FP is locked right now so not much else we can do.

Right PAAK works, but no settings or notifications working in FP. Our issues are the same.

The car is not connecting; OP picture: Unable to establish connection (car). Maybe it is trying a different cloud than the one we are use to? Car is not sending or receiving too much to FP right now. Miss having FP access and the car info on it.

Drives fine and has work arounds. Plug in carplay, schedule in the car and hit cancel to driver ID login. One week anniversary so expecting a quick fix update any day now .

We make regular use of remote start because, you know, it's cold in Chicago in the winter. That's out the window until this is fixed. We've loved this car (just had our one year anniversary with it) but good lord, the software glitches are obnoxious.

Did you log out of Fordpass after it happened I have not tried that? Can you log in to your account on a browser at ford.com? I am not sure about remote start still (think I did that once and it works). Unlock lock works on the phone as of a minute ago and it still works as a key here. FP charging, vehicle info/location, departure scheduling and the cars conductivity/privacy options are a no go. You have been getting the driver login ID pop up when starting it for 10 days now and you are still driving it is good to know.
