Thanks for the feedback everyone! If I was buying today it would probably be the CC2 - although I wouldn't rule out the DWS06 and AS4 based on how happy I am with their summer only cousins (DW and PS4S) I have on my "fun" ICE cars. But for my daily driver application on the Mach-E the CC2 is probably the best compromise. In any case, it is amazing what the current top tier all season tires are capable of - and any of them should be a huge step up over the OE Contis!

Based on Tire Rack reviews, the CC2s are awesome. They are good at just about everything. Except efficiency.

It is a fact that wet performance is inversely proportional with rolling resistance. So if you have a great wet performance tire, it will not be very efficient. The CC2 isn't very efficient and I have seen people report 10% or more range loss. If you don't care about that, get the CC2s.

I'm really impressed with how the Continentals did in this test, and somewhat disappointed that Goodyear's second gen of the ElectricDrive tires don't seem to represent a big leap forward. They apparently drive well but lack the efficiency of the Hankooks - isn't efficiency the biggest selling point of EV-specific tires?

My Mach E came with Continental PremiumContact 6s, and while they have been great tires I want to move to all seasons when it’s time to replace them. I’m not willing to take the efficiency hit that most seem to have with the CC2s, nor do I need 3PMS tires here in the Mid-Atlantic. The Continental RXs are high on my list assuming I can find them in stock.

According to TireRack they are discontinued and stock is low, though a few other retailers seem to have stock. There's also the Pirelli Pzero AS+3 Elect, which looks promising. The Scorpion AS+3 I had on an ice vehicle were possibly the best tires I've ever experienced but they don't have a sufficient load rating for the Mach-E.

While everyone here is talking about the CC2, allow me to shill for Vredestein's Quatrac Pro (and I guess they have the Pro+ now). I have it in 235/65/R18, and it's been the best winter performing tire I've ever had (apart from dedicated winter tires, of course). First RWD vehicle driving in the snow, and first vehicle not to have gotten stuck, ever.

Range hasn't been affected much, if it all, and getting it in the 18" version smooths out the ride a little.

Their favorable comments towards the electricdrive 2 tires surprised me...those were not even on my radar. It comes in my preferred 255/45R20 size for my wheels as well.

The new-ish Pirelli Scorpion WeatherActive has a similar tread pattern to the Michelin CC2, and is even more highly rated for every single measure. I think they will be my next tire.

We run 235/60 R18 on our CR1 Mach-e, which is about 1/2" larger than stock.

Also available in 255/45 R20 @Scooby24 :)

Continental’s web site claims that their tires are EV-capable. Not sure what scenarios they considered before making that claim, but so far I like my DWS-06 Plus tires. ?‍♂?
Speed and load rating, nothing else

Technically all tires need to do is support the weight and have the correct speed rating to be compatible.

One other contender you should at least look at is the Quatrac Pro+. This is what I did for my "winter tire" The reason I chose them is the Vred over the CC2, it was cheaper, performed = and even better in some places (mainly wet), and it's not a directional tire. Rotating tires on a heavy car like the MME is important and directional tires can only be rotated front to back without dismounting.

This test is the old tire called the Quatrac Pro my understanding the difference is better road feel handling lower rolling resistance, and snow handling and braking are improved.

I just bought 2 Bridgestone Turanzas for the rear tires. A patch on one tire was not holding. At 23K miles on the OEMs I decided to replace both. So far great ride, no additional noise. No major rain yet so don't know how well it handles water.

I am grateful for the tire pressure monitor system and the Ford Pass App showing tire pressure. Allowed me to know the patch was leaking.

I'm heavily leaning towards the CC2'S. I like Michelin's approach to tire compounds (lots of recycled and sustainable materials). And both members in this forum and more than a few YouTubers seem to be happy with the CC2'S.

I know this isn't a criteria for selecting tires, but I really do like the look of this thread pattern! ?
I do too. I like that you don't have to crouch down and squint at the sidewall to know what tire you are looking at. It's a small kind of strange thing about the CC2'S but cool nonetheless.

are they all season?
Michelin actually markets them as an "all weather" tire. Meaning it is essentially a snow tire that you can run in the summer. TFLEV did both summer and snow traction tests using a Model 3. The snow traction was admirable; certainly no worse than an aggressive AS.

And who are we kidding, with the warming climate there has hardly been a reason to get snow tires anymore. At least here in NH.
