Very odd thing happened to me yesterday and I'm curious if others have seen this. 2023 GT for reference and I got the 4.2.1 update last week. I pulled up to an EA charger, turned off the car, and realized the charger wasn't working (shocker). So I turned the car back on, backed up about 15 ft and pulled forward to the open spot to my right. Once again I turned the car off, I stepped out and before I could get to my charge door I heard the frunk do the double unlatch. I thought it was weird but maybe I hit a button somehow. Then I noticed my rear hatch was finishing opening all the way. WTF? I go to the rear of the car, close the hatch and realize all of my windows had rolled down all the way.

What would have caused this?! Really embarrassing as I pull into a spot and all hell breaks loose. Eventually, I get the charger connected, get back in the car and everything looks normal. I use PAAK but also had my key fob with me. I didn't do anything out of the norm except start, reverse and pull in to another spot within a minute. Freaks me out thinking this could happen when driving down the road. Right up there for all the times I go to roll my windows up and they go all the way down instead. There's a gremlin in there but I obviously can't reproduce this for service or anything.

sounds like what might happen if you were able to wave your finger over the bluetooth control buttons in ford pass, but of course the app wants you to hold your finger on each one individually, so you can't really do that.

of course FP could have a bug where it just does this randomly, who knows.

my rear hatch opened by itself in the garage one day. the car was not pulled forward enough and the hatch hit the garage door but escaped unscathed. i turned off the power lift gate control in the UI and it hasn't happened since. but maybe it was something like what happened to you.

Sheesh...

It's not possible to open all those things simultaneously unless you are holding down all the buttons in FordPass?

Very odd. There are lockout mechanisms in the case that prevent the lift gate and the frunk hatch from opening while driving. I presume that FordPass somehow sent the open commands to everything all at once, but I’m pretty sure the frunk and lift gate wouldn’t have opened if you were driving at the time.

Did you have FordPass open on your phone? As in the app was on screen?

It’s also possible to open all those things from the door keypad. So if you accidentally held down any of those numbers, or had a faulty keypad, that should happen.

All of this can be done from the fob. Occams razor - you managed to mash the unlock key (long press to roll all windows down) and double press the rear hatch button getting into/out of the vehicle.
What about the frunk?

Very odd. I had my frunk do that once after getting out of the car in my garage. Never everything though.

Sounds like FordPass was open and pocket pressed many of the buttons on the screen. That's the 2nd, 4th, and 5th button. Doesn't seem at all a big deal.
