A massive amount of work went into that so glad to see people noticing the improvement
Very happy to hear that’s fixed, I notice it in my GT, too. Looking forward to whichever update brings that fix (I’m assuming it’s the recall update).

What are you noticing in the GT?

My fairly early GT (built August 2021, no software updates) has no problems with drive modes, regenerative braking, or non-regenerative braking.

For early cars (like Job 1 2021s) they end up updating like every module in the car. Some possibility multiple times. And all of that takes time. A lot it seems.

Newer cars may have some, most, or all of those updates so they wouldn’t take nearly as long. But Ford authorizes up to 13 hours work, or whatever, to make sure it’s covered for everyone.

(my understanding)

The dealer here told me it would take two days. I told him no thanks I would wait for the OTA.
I got the OTA update the next day and it took 30 minutes.

Sometimes when I press on the accelerator after slowing down I'll feel a clunk. Nothing major but it seems like what is described in this thread.

I just got the latest update 3.3.1 in my 2022 GT.
The buttons for some temp controls got updated, and they added a new game ?
I drive mine in unbridled all the time, I just prefer the feel, no noticeable change.
It seems like PAAK (Phone as a Key) is working a little better.

Now that they have shown they can update the screen, I would like some user-programmable buttons on the main screen. Just two PLEASE trunk and frunk is what I would use all the time.

This is perhaps the only car in 20 years that you couldn't quickly open the truck.
AKA it's 3 screens down from entertainment, which is what is normally running.

I was told the Blue Cruise update would take 5 days. They just finished the windshield recall. That took 7 days and I am paying for the difference for the rental. (they will only cover $35 of the car they put me in????) I am having the worst luck with Ford/Mach-E.

This might be quicker than waiting for Ford to put in a soft button. ??

I'm not sure what you're driving, but I don't have that button. Now mine is a 2022 Mustang Mach-E GT. Which was supposed to have the foot wave thing in by the back bumper. At the last minute they removed that for the 2022 models. But perhaps forgot to at the button back, Max Defrost is really not all that needed.

I’m driving a ‘21 GT-PE. The switch isn’t factory. There is discussion on modifying the car here: https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/adding-an-inside-liftgate-power-switch.6560/ ??

Okay, I misunderstood, I assumed that was a standard button in other versions. Realistically, I think a couple of shortcut buttons on the main screen would be much more helpful. We have a screen larger than my laptop and have very little ability to customize it. It sort of seems silly not to do a lot more in software.

Yeah, but the physical max defrost switch is pretty useless all the way over on the left side anyhow. The button is more accessible with the door open and there is the persistent soft button on the screen. I figured since I saw which wires to splice I would do the mod. Much easier now to get my grocery bags out of the back. ??
