First OTA update for Mach-E coming March 18 tomorrow

I sent a few PMs, but can someone PM me their vin that has already had a successful OTA update? I want to run it in PTS and see if there is more information in the OTA dashboard than the release notes Ford gave to the public.

my car just got first update this afternoon, though not sure what got updated except refinements and bugs.

I doubt it. And I think the Beta initially had 2 OTA's in it according to the email that was sent to people to sign up for it. You'd get one, and then a few weeks later get a 2nd one.

Once that happens then I'd expect to start seeing the OTA on all other vehicles.

Mine just arrived a few minutes ago. It was a lot easier to install than updates for my Fiesta.

Not in any test program, either.

I got several VINs, thanks. Here is one I ran. It doesn’t give me any release notes as all even though the WSM says it should. However it does say what module(s) were updated. This time it was just the Gateway Module. My guess is this update is designed to make it so future OTA updates work better since the GWM controls all OTA updates. There’s also a long list of all of the steps of the update and their time stamps but I didn’t include that in the screenshot.

How do you check what version it's running? I had mine in for service yesterday, I wish they would have updated it if I haven't gotten it yet.

Do OTAs work without WiFi? I can't get it connected to either of my wireless networks.

Wifi is notrequired but you need cellphone connectivity where the car is if not using wifi.

I dont know if Canadians will have the update at the same time or after United States, any canadian received the update yet?

I think if Ford had adopted NFC for it’s key system, we’d be seeing as many posts about how poorly it’s implemented as we’re seeing regarding PAAK. Choose your poison.

Why not both? Tesla’s have both.

As in the built in Mustang connectivity or some sort of tether to the car from my cell phone?

(I still can't get the wifi to connect to my network even going full old school router with open wifi)
