Yep it would be a foolish purchase for a consumer.1) Part of the agreement is that they would basically give over everything software wise to the new company. Everything. 2) There's the problem. There is multiple articles that claimed there are NO SPARE PARTS.
I wish I can learn how this company plans to make this work. Just once accident can render an Ocean totaled. I mean, I doubt their entire fleet will be destroyed overnight, but to think that anything more than a fender bender means the car is no more.
Who knows what the buyer of Fisker's IP and software has planned - maybe Henrik secretly bought it himself to relaunch the company now that he's paid for (and written off) all the development work ?.
It's clear that Fisker doesn't give a ? about the unfortunate people who bought one early on. I suppose those early adopters could buy a $14k parts car?
