I have a 2021 Job1 that just updated to 4.1.2. but I didn't get a camera button on top

And there isn't a menu option for the camera. I have no way of accessing the camera now other than putting it in reverse.

I'm told this is the right sync version.

Also, my Bluecruise isn't working and says it has an expiration date 50 years in the future.

Has anyone else seen this? I've tried multiple sync resets, but that hasn't helped. Any other solutions to try so I don't have to visit the dealer?

Reboot Sync by holding down the volume and right seek buttons for 10 seconds.

If that doesn't resolve things, wait and check tomorrow.

Do you not have it on the controls screen below the drive modes?

I definitely will...but according to FordPass, it updated yesterday at 6:30 am. Which by the way is outside my set update time. It's been almost 1 1/2 days.

That schedule is for when to apply updates that require the car to be immobile. This update does not.

Strange. I have a 2023 with the new UI but no camera button on top. For me it’s right next to that calm screen button.
Some things change over time in production, meaning that a Premium assembled in 2020 isn't the same as a 2023 Premium. (Just using that as an example, just as a GT is always different than a Premium.)

Ford has been gradually improving their testing and deployment skills with these updates, but hasn't reached a level of confidence where they'll be comfortable with the possible risks in pushing a sync update to all models on the same day.

None of the 2023 vehicles have this camera button repositioning yet.

If BC isn’t working, it’s possible you have some sort of camera fault. That might prevent the car from giving you a camera button (not positive on that). See if you can get codes pulled to see if there is a camera fault. 🤷‍♂️🐩

Right, but the 2023s have a button in the menu. Right now I only access the camera by going into reverse. Very inconvenient when pulling into a tight spot.

It works when in reverse, so I assume no fault.

I can't check OTA updates, but I can check other updates available via FDRS w/ vin
