Ford App - New Start/Stop button

I have the button and now it doesn’t work. When plugged in at home sometimes I want a little extra charge. If I tap start to get a charge outside of the charge windows it just spins.
I have to adjust the charge window in the car to initiate a charge. Super annoying!

That's unfortunate! I'm using Android 15. Maybe it's an IOS thing? My guess is that it's the app and not that your MME is '24...? Maybe some of our Apple users could let you know what they have/see and also get some additional feedback from other Android users who have a '24.

Android S22+ (2021 job 2) climate control showed up a few weeks ago. Not sure if it was an app update or associated with the group of OTA's before my recent 10.1.0 OTA.

There are iOS users who have the climate controls in the FP app. The car has to be at required minimum software levels and the controls need to be activated on the server side for a given VIN. Not much any of us can do about the server side. ??

I have a '21 premium and IOS with the latest version of the app. I get the climate controls when I start it.

The Start/Stop button you are referring to appears when charging or using house power to run climate.

I have both 22 and 24 that have been updated, once I push the [fan] an additional climate settings pad appears beneath. Touching that allows you to modify the settings.

Thank you so much for this info. Just checked my app and I have this update. I had no idea and probably wouldn't have known for a long time since I tap the fan and put the phone down, not even looking at it.

I have a '21 premium and IOS with the latest version of the app. I get the climate controls when I start it.

Same here w/ 23.5 premium and latest iOS and FP versions. The start/stop button appearing in the upper right area of the FP “vehicle” screen I believe others were questioning/commenting on only appears if the car is plugged in. If the car is not plugged in, the button does not display. If the car is charging, the button displays as “stop”, if it has reached charge level the button displays as “start”.

You need an OTA update. I have ‘21 Premium and got 3 updates over the last month, BC 1.3 and a battery and 10.1.0, the last 2 gave me the in app HVAC controls.

Nothing on my 24 either. Tried resetting sync and reinstalling iPhone app. Tried turning off auto climate too.

You all trying to jump through hoops to get the expanded climate controls need to reread post 19.

And to reiterate, the start / stop button that appears at the top of the screen starts and stops charging, not the car.
