Here's a better pic.

You should never plug it into a 30A receptacle. The mobile charger will overload a 30 amp circuit. It has 30A continuous draw. Most breakers require a rating of 125% of continuous draw.I am confused about the mobil charger. Doesn't it come with
a 14/50 plug only ? How is anyone going to plug into a 30 amp recp ?
Slightly more, I think (32A).It has 30A continuous draw.
Yes, that sounds right. Either way it won't work on a 30A circuit. You'd need a 24A EVSE for a 30A circuit.Slightly more, I think (32A).
Somewhere way back I thought I read that it would self-detect though. Still not quite sure how it could do that, unless there's a pigtail adapter that somehow signals the charger to drop to 24A (for a 30A circuit).
Are you saying the Mach-e supplied 220v mobile charger won't work on a 30a 220 plug? I must be missing something....Yes, that sounds right. Either way it won't work on a 30A circuit. You'd need a 24A EVSE for a 30A circuit.
That is exactly what I am saying. That is why it comes with a 14-50 plug. Are you saying the Mach-e supplied 220v mobile charger won't work on a 30a 220 plug? I must be missing something....
Not unless it has the ability to lower it's power draw (which we're unsure if it does). Are you saying the Mach-e supplied 220v mobile charger won't work on a 30a 220 plug? I must be missing something....
I doubt any have installed a new 30A. But some have a 30A already in place, from something like a dryer in the garage. (Something foreign to us in cold climates. )Wow how many people have installed 30 amp circuits !!
No, but they might have a 50 amp range plug.If you go visit someone, they're not going to have a 50amp dryer plug
