Ford (FDRS) Software down? Nationwide Problems?

I have my Mach-E scheduled for Service tomorrow and I just got informed by my Dealership that t he FDRS system is down or has problems to connect to the server.
They will call me back after 3pm today if they can get it back up / connect otherwise they would reschedule me for another day!

Whatever 'Recall' Part they wanted to replace can not be performed as well as they need the FDRS to program the part.

Let's see.. was kinda suprised to hear that one day prior my 'due date' to get me out being stuck at 3.5.3

It has been down for three days this week. I finally had to tell me dealer that I needed to pick up my car.

So when I realized there was a problem with session history. I submitted a trouble ticket in the system (SPEC) using the built-in report a problem system, and included a screenshot showing the issue.

It was after that problem report submission that I found out from others on this forum and the ICE F-150 forum that FDRS was down worldwide for this problem.

So in my email this morning I get this response:

"Thank you for your recent request to update our Service Publication. We have reviewed your submission regarding the following item: 2023 Mustang Mach-E, FDRS.


Below is the concern information you provided:
Vehicle History returns "Unathorized and invalid token" when trying to view session history (Tried to review the session history for my two VINs and got the attached screen. I have refreshed the FDRS files as well as the vehicle files.)

Your concern was closed for the following reason:
Michael - We value your feedback, (screenshots and files) to help improve FDRS Functionality. The issue stated in your case was not reproducible on The tool. To optimize performance, ensure The PC is not running in a Power Saving mode, a strong WiFi connection is available and The VCI/FDRS software is at The latest level. Before reinstalling FDRS, we recommend running The Refresh FDRS files under The Fix a problem tool under The Report a problem envelope button. We strongly recommend selecting The Remove User Data option to Remove all cache Data when updating FDRS to ensure a clean download and installation of applications.

It was a system-wide problem and partial outage...but I'm the one who must have imagined the whole thing.

Dude they send that same exact form email for every problem you report. It’s an absolute joke. I don’t think they even care about FDRS problems or the guy in charge of handling reports doesn’t want to do his job anymore.

Can confirm, I also have reported issues and gotten the same canned response.

So it is all working AFAIK this morning, but an "alert" icon showed up in the top corner for a new message on the homepage.

SPEC support apparently regained consciousness after the gummie overdose and posted this:
