Fordpass keeps showing 1 unread notification

My Fordpass android app (latest version 3.18.0) keeps showing a red number 1 under the "account" section of the menu. However if I click it, it takes me to the messages page where I don't have any messages.

Has anyone else seen this? It's driving me crazy! Short of reinstalling the app (which I'll do as a last resort - just don't want to mess up any settings), is there anything else I can do?

It's not a bug, it's a feature.... I have the same issue but my MME hasn't arrived yet and isn't activated so I blame that to be the issue. Reinstalling the app didn't help.

Yup I bought it a few days ago. I already received a bunch of messages related to setup (paak, profiles, etc) and I deleted all of them. But that damn #1 is still there.

Same here, I also have it. Clicked through every single old message I have to make sure I hadn’t accidentally skipped over one, but no dice.

Seems as though my Mach-E wants to say something to me but FordPass won’t let it.

You can force quit the app to remove the badge, but when you get another notification, it'll come back up again. I just ignore it now...

Mine has a 7 there, with all messages deleted. I have been trying to get the car to activate with no success, so the messages are related to the authorization failing. I have learned to ignore it.

Yeah, pretty normal lol.
I have this too. I am pretty sure it's due to fluctuations in its precise GPS location. Every time it locks back on at the correct location, the app "thinks" that the car just arrived at home again.

You'd think it'd be smart enough to only do this after the car was just running. I'm sure it'll be fixed in a future update.

I had this before my MME, and when I deleted all my old vehicles, and reset my app when I took delivery of my MME, it then started showing 2 messages that didn't show up. After about a month, it went back to just 1.
