Say what now? I don't think that's supposed to happen. Which module is it?
BECM, all of the other modules that FORScan connects to, match the vehicle VIN. There was one forum member that ran into connected vehicle identity issues because of module VINs not matching. So far it is not creating any issues for me, IDK.

Well I did double-honk a while ago. does mirror reverse work as expected? I haven't tried that.

I have to say I'm kindof intrigued at some of the APIM stuff on the "easy" menu driven asbuilt. Like Lane Biasing (disabled) and other stuff you would think would go along with BC 1.2. But these changes must have other changes required in places like the IPMA as well.
Yeah there are so many settings I’d like to try but some I’m not even sure what the expected result is!

Truthfully, I did reverse mirror tilt and have used it twice. It works as expected but having to press the mirror selection button when in reverse is a bit dumb. It should just auto tilt once in reverse like 99% of cars with the feature.

Was it replaced? Can you read the VIN and look it up? If you send it to me I can look up the car it belongs to.

Everything is original. I'll DM the Config file from FORScan, thanks.

So...since the influencer's YT video on getting BC 1.2 to work on his F-150....if I remember correctly he indicated that the software was already in his truck...but he had to enable it, was that right? I know he made a big show of the double-secret IPMA in the pelican case but I thought he said at some point that the software was already in the modules (except for the animations in the IPC) and it just needed to be enabled. And there are a lot of settings like lane biasing, lane changing etc. that are showing as disabled in my car (FORSCAN)...... I wonder... ? ....(as he lights the fuse and hides behind the shed to see what happens.....)

Any other changes worth making? I’ve done mirror reverse, temp on IPC, headlight ramping, and disable auto honk.
Nothing that stands out right now. I've been tinkering with my ST Explorer lately, so that's been my priority these days. ?

I'm sure it's just the IPMA with the new software already loaded on it. There's probably nothing much else that would need enabled in the car. The IPMA is the brains to the whole thing. The other modules are just providing inputs to it.

Anyone worked out how you can set the tail lights to 'always on' when you have started the car? Now it works by switching the button each time - but I'd like to have them always, even in 'auto' mode when they only switch on when front lights go on vs DRL.

I've never used this. Is there any way to permanently turn of the alarm motion sensors?
