Each of the models needs their own spreadsheet. These have often been created by people with access to internal documents. The modules vary somewhat between models. The F150 and Lightning share a spreadsheet, they are very close. There is not a central location for all spreadsheets. Looks like Explorer/Aviator are close too. Here’s a spreadsheet from the Explorer forum, https://www.icloud.com/numbers/0yl-Fqa3Gnjh8m0K-1vadEHiA#FORScan_Ford_Explorer_11-23MY. It shows Aviator in the header too.
It might be in Apple Numbers format.

I finally got around to tinkering with ForScan and options related to the driver's side door keypad...

First, I attempted to change the keypad to require 7 digits instead of only 5. This was via BCM 726-27-06 (line 1255 of the BCM page of the spreadsheet.) This was successful. After making the change, I had to use all 7 digits of the master code to unlock the car door.

However, was unable to enter a personal code after this change because the screen in the center of the car only prompts for a 5 digit master code and doesn't allow entering in 7 digits. As a result, I could never enter the complete master code, and therefore could never create a personal code. (I suspect there are options in the APIM module for this - specifically line 1062 of the APIM page of the spreadsheet.)

EDIT: I've confirmed that if both the BCM modification _and_ the APIM modification is made to change the keypad to 7 digits, everything works fine.

After that, I decided I'd prefer to just completely disable the keypad. This was attempted using BCM 726-16-03 (line 933 of the BCM page of the spreadsheet.) After flipping this bit, I was unable to use the keypad on the driver door keypad. It didn't even light up the numbers when the car doors were locked. Even with this disabled, the options for the door keypad still appear on the center display. (As with the 5 vs 7 digits, I think there's an option in the APIM module to completely hide the door keypad options from the center screen menu.)

(For those who are going to ask "why?": Because I'm paranoid and I hate the idea that there's a hard-coded 5 digit code that would allow entry to my vehicle. To add insult to injury, there are only 5 buttons, meaning only 3125 (5^5) possible combinations. Because the car doesn't alert or alarm on a bad entry (and only pauses for 1 minute after several bad attempts) it's just too easy to brute force. Finally, this isn't a feature of the car I ever see myself using... so why leave it open?)

FYI Ford has had the same 5-digit entry code for 30+ years, and I've yet to hear of anyone brute forcing their way in. It would take MANY hours. They're just going to break your window if they want to get in. I think you're worrying excessively about it. It's not a computer.

i took the plunge and found the one that disables the seatbelt warning chime when you start the car before you've put on your seatbelt. i just tested it and it's absolute bliss.

in FORScan it's in the "IPC Configuration" (not the As-Built), search for "seatbelt", and select the "Seatbelt Warning Market". it should say "USA" on our US market cars. if you edit it to "Europe" the seatbelt chime on startup w/o buckling goes away.

here is mine after the change:

forscan-swm.PNG

the FORScan configuration routine changes quite a few variables in 720-01-01 and 720-01-02 so would be a bit more difficult trying to do it via the As-Built/direct access method.

i also changed the chimes similar to @TJSparky above but left my passenger side minder alone:

these along with disabling the double-honk have tamed my MME noisy nanny and i'm much happier now. ?
I came here to say thanks for listing these all in one place. I made these changes last month with FORSkin and like the car so much better now that it's finally quiet like it's supposed to be.

Thank you for sharing this!! I just made this modification, worked like a charm. Like you, I'm a bit paranoid and I think a 5 digit code is too short.

Will someone really stand there and try door codes for 2-4 hours to just get into your car to see if you have a few coins in your console? Any sane criminal would just break the window or move on to one of the many definitely unlocked cars down the street.

With that said, increasing to 7 digits only increases the time commitment to brute force it to ~50 hours. Same dude that would waste 3 hours would waste 50 hours....

Okay. I'm glad you're comfortable with only a 5 digit code. I prefer 7 digits or to just disable it.

Would someone be so kind as to share a screen shot of the spreadsheet you use to track your FORScan modifications? I'm not sure what to keep track of. I like to keep track of anything and everything that may be useful in the future.

People have come up with short lists of their mods, but you’re right nothing in a really organized fashion. Livnitup’s F150/Lightning spreadsheet (2021-24 F150) has a Common tab, which can be helpful, though the actual module numbers can vary with their Mach-E equivalents. Searching for “forscan mods” or this thread, https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/which-forscan-changes-did-you-make-to-your-vehicle.25866/ might also be helpful. To keep track of your own changes, just paste them into a new spreadsheet and/or keep all your Forscan backups.

Thanks! I think that the common tab on that spread sheet is a good start. I will also capture the setting before I change it. Keeping all the backups... that will be a must for me.

Also look in each of the main Forscan modules, not the As-Built versions. These will have text descriptions of various mods.

The venerable Livnitup has graciously created a spreadsheet for the Mach-E. It only has a few modules at present, he will add more as he finds time. It is MY23, not sure of any differences with 21/22. The 2-press panic button mod worked for me.

Mach-E spreadsheet
My apologies for typing this is someone else asked already, but I've used ForScan before on my wife's 2017 Expedition to turn off that annoying double honk when the car is on and you get out of the car and close the door... not having it is amazing, and I forgot how annoying it was until my 2023 MEGT did it at the dealer.
Do you have the code or number to switch this annoying thing off?
Looking forward to Trying the high been fade thing.
Nice work. Love this community!
