Ok so mine is a 23. Not sure if something was changed but yeah it's definitely doing a Chime if you have the Vehicle Started. With it in park and open the door.

Edit: I noticed the Passenger side does not do that. Only the message in the IPC that the door is ajar.. However if I reach over to the drivers side and open the door then the chime kicks in. So yeah basically only drivers side. Strange.
See David's post here: https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/forscan-mme-spreadsheet.24701/post-679689

Under IPC go to Chimes - vehicle running with door open. Mine was set to "manual transmission" and I changed it to "disabled". Works perfectly, no chimes now when opening door with vehicle on.

Thank you!. I was just coming back to update. I found the IPC 720-01-02 setting that I think essentially does the same thing.

DISABLE DOOR CHIMES
1. IPC AS BUILT
2. Go to 720-01-02
3. Replace the third digit with a "0" as shown here

xx0x-xxxx

4. Write the changes and let Forscan correct the checksum

My default was currently @ 0A2F-88EB. I changed the 3rd character in the first block to a Zero resulting in: 0A0F-88EB

and the driver's side door ajar no longer chimes when the vehicle ignition is on or running.

Did a number of Forscan changes last night - saw this in the APIM section:

Ford Mustang Mach-E FORScan MME spreadsheet FF148065-CA44-459A-8137-B11E154B8079_1_105_c

Any idea what it is or would do (if anything)?

Doesn't do anything. Many of the configurations have nothing to do with our cars and many require other modules to be reconfigured in order for a a particular setting to become active.

Hello everyone,

I'm seeking some assistance regarding the "Keep Hands on Steering Wheel" alert when using the line centering feature. Since BlueCruise is not available in my country (Europe), I rely on line centering for my long night trips. However, the alert to keep hands on the wheel pops up quite frequently, which can be quite bothersome.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to extend the interval before this alert appears using FORScan? Any guidance or instructions on how to adjust this setting would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your help!

There’s likely no way to change the behavior in Forscan. Others have used a lead weight velcro‘d onto the wheel as a workaround. Probably would not need to be heavy. Note the safety considerations though. This would eliminate the warning altogether, not just delay it.

Has anyone enabled that Reverse Tilt for the Mirrors? I successfully enabled it and programmed the mirrors but not at all what I was expecting. I thought once it was set up when you went into reverse the mirrors would begin to tilt but you have to tap the Left or Right Mirror from the driver's side Mirror controls to activate. (And be in reverse). I wondered why Ford would not enable this by default and I think I figured out why. About 1 out of 3 times I use the thing, I'm in reverse approaching my spot and need the mirror to tilt further and hit the button to select my driver's mirror. NOTHING!>. I'm just sitting several feet stopped ahead of my spot waiting for the mirror to drop. It never does. I usually just carefully park it anyway and after Putting it in park, reverse once or twice the button suddenly starts working again. I'm going to assume the implementation of this feature has some bugs and maybe why Ford said Scew it let them use the 360 degree camera and took that off the menu so they didn't have to worry about Service getting customers bringing in vehicles for fixes. :(

You have it set up correctly. Unfortunately like you said, you have to tap one of the mirror buttons to have the mirrors tilt.

Yeah that's just it. Maybe it's only mine but despite tapping one of those buttons the mirror won't tilt all the time. Sometimes it will. Most of the time it won't. :(.

Interesting. I’ve set that up on several cars and have never had it be erratic like that. I’ll look into it when I have a bit of time.

Yeah it’s really odd. Perhaps the issue is in how I’m using it. I typically start rolling back to my spot and once I feel I’m close enough will attempt to trigger the tilt. It’s usually here where it’ll fail to work. Maybe I need to be fully stopped first or there’s a specific time allowed to trigger the tilt and I waited to long before hitting the button. I think I’ll start trying to engage the mirror tilt immediately when I put it in reverse and see how that does

CONNOISSEUR and I had played with this for a while until we settled on the proper programming sequence for the reverse tilt and CONNOISSEUR published it on this forum back in 2022.. I had it also done on my previous Ford, a Fusion. And yes, on the Mach Es the programming sequence can sometimes get out of whack... just keep trying.

Mine just keeps trying to point down repeatedly and eventually stops.

The GWM settings are not in the spreadsheet, nor can I find them elsewhere. As the gateway to other modules, there’s likely not much to fool with, but who knows.
