This was happening to mine intermittently and now has failed permanently. I scheduled an appointment to fix. With the camera out, I can not use Regular Cruise control either. I still love the car.

Sigh… got 3.5.3.3 yesterday…. Seems to somehow have set me back. Now the car is totally dropping adaptive cruise control leading to a “60mph to hard brakes” situation while BC is active… and the faults are happening much more frequently

Super surprising since 3.3 is such a tiny update that shouldn’t have had much impact
Yep. My faults started in late July after the 1st Power-up update/BC maps OTA. I only have had about 8 mo where BC/ACC fully worked on my GT. It's Oct... going on month #3 with these faults. My GT is not even a yr old! I hope the Ford field engineer assisting in-person next week at my dealer will offer a super-duper deluxe fix! [attempt #3]

The very first thing tech should do is pull trouble codes (DTCs) and if you have the naughty IPMA ones, apply TSB 22-2295 steps exactly to the tee! My dealer's EV tech may have skipped part of the steps in this TSB! Thanks @Mach-Lee for assisting! I'll post updates ASAP.

It goes back to the dealer this Friday for the second time. I delayed sending it back as I’ve seen no one with a fix. I’m heading out on a trip so I can leave it with them for 2 weeks and hope someone finds the solution so they can apply that fix while I’m gone. After watching this post, I’m not hopeful it will be solved by then.

I got a weird fault today. Adaptive Cruise Control not available. I was driving in BCHF at the time. ???

Nothing changed. BCHF continued to work as expected. Weird.

Hello there. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.

Curious on exacting details here, if you have them; or if you don't have them attempt to learn them. In my case, my understanding was that the tech went through the TSB as stated, but I'm still experiencing problems.

Just got back home from picking the car back up ... For those following along, here is the invoice. Note the programming issues mentioned by other folks and some reset issues.

...

Here are relevant snippets of the invoice. Note this time, this dealer did reference and go through TSB 22-2295. They replaced the IPMA, then had some programming issues to overcome with the new module (I believe that's been reported elsewhere in the forum as well), and finally re-aligned the camera.

PM sent with VIN and details as requested. Be advised my car is well past its 36k miles warranty period so I am not eligible for assistance per the warranty.

Contact Corp Ford Customer Service and request assistance with your MME BEV. You'll need to be 'very' insistent and request a case in the BEV team. This is clearly a SAFETY defect and Ford may issue an official recall soon or a customer satisfaction program to pay for all corrective work. It helps if you use one dealer for all Ford service work. They may be able to 'goodwill' some of the work.

Update: Car is on trip #3 to the dealer, going on 3 weeks. Asked the dealer for an update and this is what I got: "Talked to Ford on Friday. Waiting on them to do what they do in a case like this."

Whatever that means.

Hello and welcome to the #3 attempt club! The lounge is open my friend.
UPDATE: Tech looked at my GT a little bit today but was swamped with other work. A front camera has been ordered since my tapping on the housing triggered some of the faults. Also waiting for regional engineer to add their 2 cents.

Same! I spoke with someone today and was told that if I were to start the buyback process, they are unable to provide a replacement because of the car shortage.

So ford is just going to start buying these cars back now instead of fixing this issue!? what the heck...
