I was able to get mine dropped off today for the 3rd attempt at a fix. I'm hoping they figure out something soon.

It's sort of ironic, i got the Alexa and Video Streaming updates this week (plus the new games), which is nice, but I'd really just like the cruise control to function while I'm commuting.

I hear ya! Maybe Alexa can console us?

Got my car back late yesterday...

So they ran all the available updates for me in FRDS (thanks!! still no frunk though :~<)

The notes on the workorder say they had the following error codes:
CMR - B115E - Camera Blocked
IPMA U3000 - Control Module
U2107 - Collision Mitigation by Braking

I see a note that they did SSM 50497 which doesn't really mean much to me... I think they think this "resets and fixes everything"

I saw a line that they wrote down TSB 22-2295 but they crossed it out... makes me think they didn't do it.

Driving home yesterday I didn't have BC activate at all, though it was a torrential downpour so was more focused on driving than BC. This morning took it for a 2mi highway spin and BC did activate immediately and no errors so far.

So overall I'd say the first dealership visit simply just did SSM 50497 to reset everything and didn't really do additional troubleshooting steps that the ford hotline asked to do........ sigh. But i'll be hopeful for right now.

You can read about SSM 50497 here. My understanding is that it is for the driver monitoring camera behind the steering wheel.

Service department called me to tell me they’ve fixed the issue again. I think he said they just recalibrated everything and applied the same software updates again.

They did tell me that they saw the errors popped up the same time as a software update, so they suggested I turn off automatic software updates to see if the fix sticks this time.

That’s why my tech tried this time. Recalibrated and drive it for a few days before calling me. Fault came back while he was driving

UPDATE: 3rd attempt is still in progress at my dealer! It's touchy. Successful so far w/new FC, IPMA (2 replacements!!), driver status cam (on steering wheel, 2nd visit replaced), and multiple module updates/calibrations. Today, did a master vehicle reset of Sync to clear out anything faulty. No user faults displayed and BC works fine on their highway road tests... but Sync navigation is not working correctly. Traffic is not being displayed and the lady constantly says, "Enter the carpool lane... enter the carpool lane..." [this happened before it went in!] So, they're going to retain my Mach E and master tech is reaching out on the hotline again! I'll get a free fill-up of gas for my back-up commuter too! Please cry.... It's a Camry, ha!

I dropped mine off again for the second time. Not a member of the 3rd time club yet as I was waiting for some time to pass and see if anything developed on this thread with a solution.

I’m gone for 18 days on a trip so thought now would be a good time to give it to the dealer. When I dropped it off, the dealer service rep was just talking with the ford engineers and they were sending out 2 engineers on Tuesday to look at it. I’m in western Michigan so I assume these engineers are coming from Dearborn headquarters. I told the dealer if the engineers needed to take it back to Dearborn to figure out the problem, to do that. We all want this problem resolved and will keep everyone informed what I hear.

ha ha... sure... all better.... now i've got issues with BC not kicking in. It does, but it seems to be sort of sporadic when it actually fully activates.

I did get the fault twice today... and it did fully deactivate and 1PD "slam on brakes" on the highway... SIGH... though now it seems completely random. It didn't happen when going over bumps. I also had a few times when it just completely cancelled and didn't give any error messages at all...

Everything worked yesterday; no errors popped up. Today it's popping up every 10-15 minutes, driving nearly the same roads I drove on yesterday. I'm keeping track of how many times the errors pop up before it completely disables it this time. Obviously, the hypothesis from the service department that this may be caused by software updates is false, considering I've turned that off and it still triggered the errors.

I'm going to schedule another service for this week to see if they can take a 4th try and fixing it.

I was actually ready to pull the trigger on trading my '21 Select RWD SR for a '22 Premium RWD ER just to be done with this issue, but the dealership sold the Premium before I could get over to them to sign the paperwork.
