Nice! I might need to order the cable and install it myself. Do you have a part number from your repair ticket?

I am still getting the errors although much less frequent compared to the summer. I only see this about once a month now.

It may still be in my car. I’ll take a look when I get off of work.

Hi from Puerto Rico. I have my 2021 Premium RWD job 2. The damn failure started around last summer. First, the error started coming out for about one to two minutes and then everything was normal. I did it every two to three days. Then he continued to increase the ruling until in October it became permanent. It is the same story of many here. I took it to the dealership the same month of October and on the same day they diagnosed the failure in the IPMB. I told them about the coaxial cable that goes from the camera and they told me that they were going to inspect it visually. However, they diagnosed only IPMB. They returned it to me the same day. They called me last Friday to take it last Monday to change it. They delivered it to me yesterday and at the moment I have driven 30 miles and so far everything is fine. I will make an update here later with the status of the pony. Here are the worksheets.

Just curious. It would seem that after long suffering, many (most) on this thread are having their front camera issues resolved. Some through software updates. Most through coaxial cable replacements. Is that a fair assessment?

Is there anyone here who had the coaxial cable replaced, but it didn't fix the problem?

My symptoms started towards end of the summer and were a daily or several times per day occurrence. During the fall, the faults appeared less often....maybe once a week. So far this winter I am seeing the faults once per month ish...

Thank you! I will confirm prior to ordering.
@SnBGC Don't forget the special glue to attach new coax cable to your headliner! Dealer had to order that too as part of the complete replacement.

Thanks for the tip!
If possible, I would probably leave the original cable in place and sister the replacement along side with zip ties (or similar).

Remember that the coaxial cable is a fragile and delicate cable. Whatever you use to put them together don't push it too tight.

Well, sitting at the dealer for the third time reading all 42 pages of this thread!

they did the windshield/pano recall of my June ‘21 CA/RT1 and these 2 errors kept popping up until it just came on when I turned the car on

also an occasional “Reverse brake assist not available” error.

I’ll bring up the coax connector as it makes sense after they ripped that area all apart.

hopefully it’s as simple as that.

EDIT: Today December 30, 2022, the dealer told me that yes, the Coax was damaged and possibly the front camera as well. They've ordered the harness and the front camera. Should be in by Jan 3/4th and we'll setup a new appointment.

fingers crossed!

EDIT: Today Jan 11, 2023 brought the car in as they said the parts are here! They had her all day, but never go to her... I have a POS loaner now and hope they'll get it installed in the next few days.

/not impressed

EDIT: Toady Jan, 17, 2023. I picked up the MME on Friday 13th all finished and after 5 days no return of the error messages!

So the Coax was/is the problem, I see they also replaced the windshield camera, maybe due to the braking of the Coax also busted the connector? Don't know, but it seems to be working now!

There was also an intermittent "ReverseBrake Assist not available" that they were able to 'see' and fix. Said had to drive in a straight 'line' a few times to 'align' the steering. Yeah, I did it a few times too, but it still kept popping up. But no errors so far.

Enc: Invoice/what they did

Sigh. So after 2 months of no issues im back in the fun. One point today it kept happening 2-3 times in a 5 minute period.

I notice if I start hitting the”known trouble area” it stops the issue from happening. Hitting it doesn’t trigger the error though.

now my family makes fun of me for “fixing my 50k car by banging on it”

@Marque Open up a BEV customer care case by calling Ford. They will assign a manager for you and he/she will assist with the next dealer attempt to fix this complex problem. Trust me, it will get resolved shortly... They will make things work. Yours could be both software and hardware problems... Ugggg, welcome to the club! Faith... Ford will get it. They better!
Thanks. I was planning to take the car in after Thanksgiving, but something came up and I had to go out of town. I dropped it before Christmas and they told me now they need to change the "brain of the infotainment system". I am convinced it is a loose connection somewhere as it faulted sometimes going over a bump like train tracks. I got my car back, rather than taking the rental they offered, as I love it and will wait for the part to come in. I guess I will check out the BEV. Not sure how to go about it.

I have hesitated to post any updates out of fear of jinxing it, but knock on wood no Front Camera Faults since we picked the car up after the 3rd fix attempt (so, 10 days at the time of this post). The real test comes around Christmas time when we have a small road trip planned.
Well, over the holidays we took a 625 mile total trip. No Front Camera Faults, and used BlueCruise for about 300 miles of the trip. Dare I say, it seems like I guess my issues are finally fixed after the third fix attempt. That trip was the first time since June/July of 2022 that we were able to actually use and try out BlueCruise. Definitely will keep an eye out and post in this thread occasionally.

What was the final repair that resolved the problem?
