Just curious, the front tires fight or scrub when you turn as sharp as it turns on pavement. It is awd but wouldn't think that would make a difference since two separate motors.

Are you talking about understeer? Or are you talking about tire rub during full lock turns? Or is this a riddle?

I'm talking about just making as tight a turn as you can at slow speed on pavement and you can feel the front tires slipping or fighting just like the alignment is off or is this normal?

It’s a very heavy car with very skinny tires. Yes, taking a turn aggressively will cause some sliding. Thankfully the chassis has been tuned enough that this seems very progressive and linear; never felt like I was losing control in this car.

I don't have an answer for this but it sounds just like a four wheel drive front axel binding. This happens because the left and right wheels are turning at a different rate and the front transaxle in binding.

That sounds like the usual low speed understeer you get in a 5000lb vehicle with 225 section width contact patches up front. Our 4X did that as well. In actual cornering maneuvers above 30mph it is quite neutral and you can get the tail out a bit before stability control reigns it in.
We moved to 20” wheels with 255/45 UHP tires and that low speed (<25mph) issue you’re describing went away mostly, but any vehicle will usually do that at low speeds so drivers don’t drift into shit.

I feel like everyone is misunderstanding you here. Yes, when I back out of my garage and turn my wheel all the way to the left (I would assume right as well), it will scrub a little on the pavement at slow speeds. This is normal and a lot of AWD/4WD vehicles will do this

Yes, you are correct on the misunderstanding, and thank you for your response. I know a full 4wd will do this because both axles are locked together and trying to turn at different speeds, my 150 in 4wd auto won't do it so I thought this shouldn't either but it's the first rig of this sort that I have had.

Completely off-topic, but I heard that anything larger than 245 wouldn't fit well. Do you see that? And how that affected your range, if any?

Yes, you are correct on the misunderstanding, and thank you for your response. I know a full 4wd will do this because both axles are locked together and trying to turn at different speeds, my 150 in 4wd auto won't do it so I thought this shouldn't either but it's the first rig of this sort that I have had.
The front wheels are not locked together.

My Blazer has such a short wheel base and a front axle that will turn it so tightly that even in 2 High with the front differential unlocked it will sometimes feel like a tractor. The tires will fight each other the rear tires will skip a little, etc. My GT-PE does this to such a lesser degree that I don’t hardly notice it. ?‍♂??
