I recently had to have my air compressor replaced. Took it into the dealership and they got it done quickly. When I left the dealership, I noticed that when my car is at highway speeds, there is a high-pitched wine coming from under the hood. Sounds similar to the annoying Bee that flies around a cartoon character’s head. I took it back to the dealership and they stated that it is my windshield wipers making the sound. It clearly is NOT my windshield wipers, because the sound did not start until they removed the frunk casing to replace the air compressor. The dealership is refusing to do anything else to solve this problem. They have offered to replace the windshield wiper cowling (?) for $1000 but I know this is not the issue. I am thinking that the frunk casing was not put back properly and that air is catching somewhere. I drive 35 highway miles to work every day. This sound is driving me insane. To the point that I am considering getting rid of a car I love because I can’t figure out what to do. Suggestions? I am open to anything.
