And how exactly did you do that? With the letting out air method?
In post #19 above I explained this but here it is again:

Open the drivers door and turn on the ignition (do not start the car). Press the emergency flasher switch 3 times on and off. The horn will beep once and you will get a message on the center display "Train Left Front Tire". Go to the left front tire and let air out until the horn beeps once. This is usually around 30 lbs. Next go to the Right front and do the same thing, then Right rear and Left rear in that order. After you let the air out of each tire and it reaches around 30 lbs, the horn will beep once. When done, the display will read "Tire Training Complete". Turn off the ignition.

Thanks. I did see that post, but I wanted to confirm that that was the method you used in this case.

@markboris, what TPMS sensors did you go with for your Signature wheels? I see that the OEM ones are $84 each on parts.ford.com. Ouch!

I went with these because they are metal and short. There is no programming to do. The car will pair them automatically. You do have to teach the car how to recognize which wheel they are on which is a simple process I explained just above.

Could it be that there is no programming required as yours were already correctly preprogrammed to be used with Ford? I noticed in your ebay link that it shows only mustang GT as compatible vehicle what tells me they are preprogrammed.

I wonder as I want to buy a set of Autels or Schraders but most need to be cloned with a tool and I don't have such a tool.

For the MME, the sensors don't need to be cloned because the vehicle will automatically learn the new sensor IDs (as long as the sensors are compatible). But as I now know, the MME won't automatically learn which wheel is in what position, so you have to use the process @markboris outlined to tell the car that info.

You are probably correct. The various TPMS's I have used on my last few cars (all Ford's) were specifically for Ford vehicles. All tire shops that I have ever been to have this tool and can program senosors for you. You do need to make sure the sensor is a 315 mHz type.

Thank you both for your replies. Both contradict each other unfortunately. Issue is that i'm the Netherlands and we only have like 5 MME's which on the road since this week (!) no aftermarket suppliers can't tell me which I need as it's an unknown car to them and the dealers haven't yet provided information on it. They are all "guessing" it should work....

I just have no clue where to look for to get the right sensors which are either working out of the box or are programmable but at least are to function with the MME.

What's the contradiction? If you use an aftermarket 315Mhz sensor that says it will work with current Ford vehicles, you should be fine. If you go with a universal TPMS sensor and can get somebody to program it for you, you'll also be fine. I have an Autel TPMS tool, so I was able to program Autel universal sensors myself. I also cloned them to the original sensor IDs, but that's not really necessary.

Ah my bad, I mixed up you and boris his earlier posts.

I think I found the correct EU sensors Ford is using based on this website.
With that number I found on the schrader EU website the aftermarket version which can be bought at third parties with exactly the same specs and name.

The mentioned compliant cars don't include the mach e (yet) but do include all most currently in the EU available Ford models and makes.

As it's Ford only I suppose they will act the same with Boris and no learning is needed.

They only cost € 85 for the set so that's a nice bonus :)
