how does one even know if they've been bumped to 91kWh?
That’s not happening until the 2022s start being delivered. All of us with 2021 will probably have to wait a bit longer to get it in an OTA update. I’m curious if the 22s will also ship with the improved charging curve.

I have a road trip from southeastern Michigan to Chicago coming up in the middle of next week. I’ll report back with the results. I’m definitely not expecting over 250 miles of range since it’s in the low 40s here already and I’ll have snow tires on.

After a little over 300 miles I am getting around 3.3 mi/kWh. 3.3 x 88 =290.4 so I think that 260 miles range is doable.

I ended up averaging about 2.6 mi/kwh on the vast majority of the highway portion of the drive. That was with cruise control set to 77 mph most of the time. My overall efficiency for the trip was 2.9 mi/kwh thanks to slower sections of 55 mph roads + traffic for the first 30 min and last hour. E-heat stayed off 90% of the time because I preconditioned the car and it was up in the low 50s, so it wasn't needed much. Overall pretty much exactly what I expected.

In 50's temps, 242 at 100%, early on on a GT. That probably means 280 max summer, 210 *at best) dead of winter, based on my first edition stats as a comparison.

Guys, how do you reset the GOM? I havent even had my GT a week yet. I luv it, and stomp it every chance I get. But soon the temps warm up. And I will check my range. I enjoyed reading this thread. I have charged it 3 times so far at home. And am thrilled with the kwh price compared to gas. Heres 2 screenshots. If they help for anything.

I don't measure actual range or fuel efficiency, because I don't care about that. The car regularly estimates about 230 miles for a full battery.

@Glen From Ford:

By manually resetting EV driving history, your vehicle will erase all driving behaviors and revert to summer conditions to recalculate projected range, which will be significantly higher than actual range available in cold weather. Intelligent Range will begin to adjust to reflect winter conditions and owner actions, so initial remaining range may drop more quickly than actual miles driven as the newly learned driving conditions are factored in.

To reset driver history: click on the vehicle icon in the top left corner of the center touchscreen > Select Settings > Select Vehicle > Select EV Driving History Reset.

Since another threads seems fixated on the 1/4 performance of the GTPE, I thought I would start one for the range of the GT models. ( I realize this model is mostly about speed but I am interested in both speed and range and my GTPE will come later this Fall)

What are the new owners seeing for range of the GT and the GTPE? What are the miles/kwatts you are seeing?

GT is advertised at 270 and the GTPE 260.

update: sorry just realized I misnamed this thread. I really was wanting to know the range of either that owners are seeing, not versus. Thread title renamed.
my gtpe ranges around 200-210 miles per full charge

We went to 65 degrees today. So when I charged up when I got home. I had 220 on the GOM now. A plesant surprise to what its been in the cold.

Edit: in the cold I was getting 180/185 for a charge, total miles.

I have had my trips range mostly from 2.6 to 3.3 mi/kWhr, but my GOM rarely says anything over 193 at 90% SoC (I only charge to 100% when necessary, and thus far that has been zero) It has been cooler in FL since I took delivery and it’s just now starting to get warmer and I have noticed range has started to increase. I just got the windows tinted with high heat rejection llumar film and I already noticed I have raised the climate control temp and with that .1 to .2 mi/kWhr increase so barely perceptible, but still it is more range. I by no means baby the car either, definitely not afraid to smash the go pedal when road and traffic conditions permit.

2.5 mi/kW. You're not going to run it to zero, and if you're road tripping it'll charge to 80%...assuming 15% to 80%...57 kW of "usable" battery

Right around 150 miles per quick charge. And this is driving a reasonable CA speed, keeping up with traffic. 1st trip out with a 100% charge adds another 50 miles to the 1st charging station...you're stopping about every 2-3 hrs

In town doesn't matter as much, you'll be hard pressed to burn a full charge as efficieny goes up as speeds go down + regen...and you'll likely be charging at home every day

I am quite interested in this also, I only have 800 miles on my GTPE and am in cold climate but so far getting less than 150 mile range on 100% charge and 2 mile/kw about as good as it gets. Hopefully warmer weather and longer trips will improve this considerably. So far longest trip was 120 miles and didn't have much battery left. Lots of room for improvement here. With the cheap off-peak rate it's still impressive, but hope it improves considerably with warmer weather.

This winter my GTPE averaged 190 miles on the GOM, although when I would track a trip it was more like 200 during the worst of winter (for us single digits to teens.

I just did a drive on the interstate going 70 at 61 degrees and it averaged 3 miles per kw which is 266 miles. Makes me optimistic that the 6 months of warm weather I will see more than the 260 mile epa range. ?
