GT Mach-E ordering starts next week - 4/28! Who's ordering?

You can get your VIN from your dealer, by calling Ford and providing your Order # and Order Date, or through the reservation page (I don't know how to do that, calling Ford was super easy so that's how I did it).

My 7/11 build week (produced 7/16) initially showed an 8/17 ETA. After about a week (this past Monday) it was put in the placeholder 10/31 ETA along with most of the other GTs (and some non-GTs) with earlier builds. The dealer said mine is "Produced with a Micro Chip At Plant In Hold" status. Let's hope the initial ETAs they were giving hold up, but it's likely all tied to how fast the chips get off the boats and through the ports........

Make me wonder are in que waiting on chips. I was concerned about that when I saw the date. Seemed to good to be true. More patience needed! Thanks for sharing your information.

You can get your VIN using this link, but your vehicle needs to have been scheduled for production. If you have a build day/week, this will work to get your VIN.

Good to see @ahawksfan previous week order is still steaming forward ??

Week of 7/18 Production, Sticker came avail 7/17 and reflects a 7/16 invoice date. No updates to any trackers yet. Lower date on sticker did update to 7/21 yesterday, which years back I was under the impression it meant the order updated/changed/progressed in some fashion, but today reverted back to 7/18...

Any new production dates been issued? It seems Ford hasn't issued new production dates (for people that had reservations) for GT's for about a month now.

The last Mach-E scheduling I see was June 24.

Are all the GTs with build dates for people that converted reservations? I think some people that had reservations are still waiting for build dates, correct? Another major milestone for me will be when they start producing GTs that were ordered without converting a reservation.

When I placed my order at the end of May, the website was showing 28+ weeks for delivery, so I'm looking at mid-December. I'm hoping they'll announce a November build date maybe in October.

It would be nice not to have to wait a whole year to claim the tax credit.

You are likely waiting for quite awhile for that one... I'd wager you will not take delivery in 2021 if you ordered without a reservation. Unless you get lucky and find a dealer stock somewhere, somehow. But I believe there is some allocation system in place for the GT/GTPE that will make that practically impossible short of buying a cancelled order.

I converted my GT-PE reservation to an order on 4/27, accepted by dealer within 10 minutes. Still radio silence. I wonder why Ford prioritized a reservation after a non-reservation?

I have to imagine its a lot of part supply logistics. If I recall, there were more PE orders than regular GT could be something limiting there. I'm wholly expecting this date to slip, but they'll get there though.

Week of 7/12 shows "limited scheduling"
Week of 7/19 shows they scheduled 8/30 - 9/27 Build weeks

Today 7/22 would be the next scheduling day, and looks like several ppl in another thread did get assigned these weeks today. So looks like last weeks tentative scheduling is occurring this week

Oh finally, finally, I got a build date of 9/26/2021. Found out by checking the website (daily) still no email from Ford yet.

This has taken forever!

I am working with my brother-in law to get the X-plan discount and will probably wait until September until the 2022's come out to see if they add any minor fixes or color changes. I hope that I can get mine ordered by the end of September, but that all depends on when Ford roles out the next years model of the GT.
