I'm interested in installing some interior trim lights for the dash and doors. Looks like GlowRide has pretty good reviews, and is pretty simple install. https://getglowride.com/

Has anyone done something similar or have another product they recommend? Looking for something DIY for a "non-electrician".

The only thing I haven't figured out is way to hide the wires when the door is open, so any suggestions there would be helpful...

I did back in '21 but it was not a kit as there were none available for the Mach-E. Just bought some EL wire and installed it myself. About two months ago, I helped a member install a kit specifically made for the Mach-E which was easier than the one I made up plus it is controlled by Sync and matches/changes colors with the cars ambient lighting. Not sure where Eric got the kit and he is out of town for the holidays but maybe he will chime in and if not I'll contact him.

My thread on the interior trim lighting I installed.

I wanted to have some installed on my 23 GT but was highly suggested not to. I have technically illegal blacked out driver as passenger windows and should not bring any attention to my car. I read this past Christmas that cars lit up like Christmas trees that were more often pulled over and finned.
Pretty sure the OP is talking about Interior lights?

I contacted Eric and this is the kit we installed:
https://ev-vida.store/products/mustang-mach-e-ambient-lighting-kit

We did not use all of the lighting accents in the kit like the speaker surrounds and rear footwell lighting. Mainly just the doors and the rear door storage area. We have to add the dash lighting yet as we did not have time to do it. It is kind of a cool setup where there is one master module that you connect to power and either one of the existing front footwell lighting. Then, there are remote door modules that you install in each door with accent lighting and they receive a signal from the master module as to which color and intensity for the accent lighting.

I looked at the description of this product The Ambien lights will not go on unless you have your light setting set to manual headlights if you use the auto headlight option ambient lighting will not work

That is correct and one reason I have not installed it in any other cars yet. However, I am sure I would be able to modify it so make it work differently. In my '21, I had them come on all the time the car was on which was fine with me. Will probably do the same if I were to install this kit in my car. Just need to find the time but right now have too many other projects going on with my car.....

I installed the V2 and it did not. However they may have made a change since then? I guess I can put this mod in front of others mods I have going on and install it next week and post back.

I have been informed that the module's that are being shipped with the latest kits do in fact work when the headlamp switch is set to "Auto". This is good news. I ordered a kit for my '24 and will definitely be installing it next week to check it out.

Do you know if the kit comes with instructions or a video of how to do the install? I'm comfortable running the light strips, but when it comes to splicing wires, or connecting electrical, I don't know if I trust myself

I actually don't remember if it came with instructions or if you go to a link they supply. I do remember it was a pain getting those strips in the door panels. Much more so than the ones I used when I did my own kit. The wiring was very easy but then I am doing electrical in cars and homes all the time. I know Eric did not want to use quite a few of the lights it came with and neither will I. Just the rear door storage areas, all four door panel and dash accent lighting.

Sounds good. Look forward to seeing the results and hearing your feedback on the install. I'm in AZ, so worst case maybe I'll take a trip to San Diego and have them installed at the EV Vida shop.

Or, I can maybe help you out sometime when I'm in the Phoenix area (Waddell) installing the same kit for a friend that lives there. ?
