Do you get your electric from hydroelectric by any chance, as that is a ridiculously inexpensive rate! My all inclusive cost is 17.5 cents/kWh this month. Power comes from Orange & Rockland, a NY company. Bill P
Not any better here in Delaware, I am at $0.175 per kw all including fees.

Still way cheaper than gas!

Off peak ($.08473/kWh)
on-peak rates ($.13/kWh)

Summer 3pm to 7pm is peak
Winter 6am to 10am is peak
Are you including transmission charges, taxes, amortized fixed costs, tariffs & surcharges?

I'm in South Carolina, so pretty sure you have Dominion Energy as well. We don't have a peak/off-peak, just a first 800 kWh rate.

First 800 kWh X $ 0.137230
After 800 kWh X $ 0.148730

I might be charged this way because I have solar panels though.

My old rate $0.0922/kWh + $12.75 delivery charge/mo

New TOU rate
$0.16/kWh on-peak (8a-8p M-F)
$0.0512/kWh off-peak (8p-8a M-F, all day Sat, Sun, and holidays)
+ $12.75 delivery charge/mo

The state PSC also applies a power cost adjustment that can change monthly. Right now that is +$0.0227/kWh. In the winter months, the adjustment can be a credit per kWh.

Nothing I installed a portable nuclear reactor I got from DRMO

I'm at 12000 YEN = $82.00 a month, plus 3,398 = $23.00 a month for charger membership of 10 charges a month.

Since it’s still summer season (June-September) my rates are $0.27 / kWh off peak 12:00 AM - 3:00 PM, $0.58 / kWh peak 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM. However for the most part, I’m off grid because my solar and batteries take care of all my power needs. I have to pay a $10.58 connection fee each month but have a decent credit ($400-$900) at my yearly true up time.

We have the most expensive electricity rates in the country, charged by San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E). There are two components to our electricity charges: Electricity Generation and Electricity Delivery. Electricity Generation rates vary by time of day and season (see below). Electricity Delivery rates vary by season (see below). Fortunately, I have 21 solar panels, so we generate about 2/3 of the electricity that we use to charge our two BEVs. If I had to fully rely on power from the grid, I calculated what it would cost to fully charge my 70 kWh MME battery (from 0% to 100%, by season and time of use) and how much that equates to per mile of driving (using 3.7 miles per kWh efficiency that I have averaged over 22,000 miles of driving). Given that gasoline currently costs about $5.25 per gallon here in San Diego, even with our high electricity rates, my MME would still be saving me a lot of money even if I had to rely strictly on power from the grid (fortunately, I do not). If I was driving an ICE vehicle averaging 30 miles per gallon, current gasoline prices would result in a cost of $.175 per mile (plus the extra costs of maintaining an ICE vehicle over a BEV).

Electricity Generation Rates:

Ford Mustang Mach-E How much do you pay for electric at home? 1694847459026

Electricity Delivery Rates:

Winter:
SDG&E Delivery Rate = $.41103/kWh flat rate

Summer:
SDG&E Delivery Rate = $.23046/kWh flat rate

Overall Winter Rates:

70 kWh x $0.47475/kWh = $33.23 per charge (Super Off-Peak) = $.128/mile

70 kWh x $0.49827/kWh = $34.88 per charge (Off-Peak) = $0.135/mile

70 kWh x $0.57934/kWh = $40.55 per charge (On-Peak) = $0.157/mile

Overall Summer Rates:

70 kWh x $0.30215/kWh = $21.15 per charge (Super Off-Peak) = $.082/mile

70 kWh x $0.46005/kWh = $32.20 per charge (Off-Peak) = $0.124/mile

70 kWh x $0.7607/kWh = $53.25 per charge (On-Peak) = $0.206/mile

I’m up by Canada. Pretty sure I get some hydro, some nuclear, some solar, and plenty of wind. But it’s whatever National Grid is pumping up here.

350 dollars last year....10 kW solar roof is super useful in reducing your energy bills.
This includes charging the MachE.
