do you use any kind of schedule charge time, or charge cutoff % ? or, just plug in and let it rip until 100% ?

the times it cut out, were you starting the charge with HV at less than 15% ?

I'm just trying to think of variables OTHER than battery core temp.... I don't use any scheduled charge or wakeup, and never had a problem with charge ending before 100% once I plugged in to start charge.
Yes I do have it on a schedule, it's schedule to start charging at 10 pm and only charging up to 90%. I don't think I've ever had the battery go below 15%, it's always been above 15%. I also have it on a schedule to precondition in the morning and afternoon (when leaving work) and this doesn't always work either. I have a feeling there is a bug with the software when car goes into sleep mode. Ford called me earlier today and left me a message, will be calling them back soon.

sounds like a bug.... perhaps scheduled charge starts are not waking up the MME correctly....

I spoke with Ford and they asked me if I had noticed a different color light on the charger, to which I never paid attention to but now I will. They also asked me to set my schedule through the car and not use the app, just in case there was an interference with the app and car. I probably won't get a chance to play around with it until this weekend. The Ford agent sent me her email and info so I can send her screenshots and keep her updated. We will see what happens ?

Does you car charge up OK if you just plug it in an let it charge (no schedule just plug & charge)? I have a similar problem that I can plug and charge OK, but if I schedule a charge (on the wall-box, not the car), after about 55mins I get a message in Ford Pass "Scheduled charge did not begin" and consequently the wall-box never goes up to full power. My local dealer is speaking with Ford to see what resolution there might be. I have just had the 21P22 module updates applied and not had a successful scheduled charge since.

I have same problem. For me the charger light becomes amber (red?) and I have to take it off the charger and back again.

I've never tried charging right away, have always had it on a schedule. There was one time when the battery got down to 35% and when I got home, plugged it in, car started charging right away, it didn't charge to the max, it charged to a certain percentage and then it started charging again at its schedule.

I picked up my car last Monday and drove it around 70 miles. Left to go out of town for two weeks. The car went into deep sleep a day after I left.

Its been 5 days now. I left door unlocked. I tried using ford pass to unlock and wake up the car. Fordpass says car is unlocked but it didn’t come out of its sleep.

hope the car is not dead when I get home.

anyone have any ideas how to check from long distance

Widget didn’t work but will try again later

will starting the car from afar work and then I can shut it off?

I am afraid of locking the doors But then again if it does lock I guess it’s not dead

It will auto-off after a time period. Why are you afraid to lock it?

Well if it was truly dead you can jump it. But just because it went to sleep doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong.

You’re right but jumping the car isn’t easy. Have to take out frunk lining since I haven’t cut holes yet to make jumping easier.

but I think all is ok.

thanks for the help

Yes. it's always comforting to see 12V status after a refresh.
