Looks like my wife's company is on that list. I assume I should mention that to my dealer.
Your wife's company should have some sort of employee benefits website. What you need is a 5-digit alphanumeric code (at least mine was 5 digits). You'll need that code to be able to log into the Ford Partner website.

Make sure you see your original deposit credited as a part of downpayment

I personally would have really felt hurt if you notified your wife before telling us here on the Forum. After all, your wife could get an account on the Forum is she wants to know when we do.

I'm going direct finance w/ our Credit Union. They have always provided us with great rates: Vehicles, RVs, Toys
Ford has 1.9% for 60 months (if you qualify), which beats my credit union best rate of 2.24% for that term. Also 0.9% for 36 or 48 months, 3.9% for 72 months. Can't hurt to look into it.

I just got "The CALL" this afternoon from my dealer. Their "EV Specialist" is scheduled to "run checks" ,"charge it overnight" and do the PDI to have it ready for delivery tomorrow afternoon. This MME is the only one on the property as their demo unit is "stuck in QA". My contact person is the Internet Manager and is expecting to turn me over to a salesperson for the haggle/sale process. I will have to go through the Inspeciton Checklist and become fluent in the Ford Options and finance stuff.

Should be fun. Update(s) to follow.....

Update 02/22/21:

My MME is waiting on parts. It never made out of PDI. Parts are supposed to be in today but they said there may be a several day delay(?). Regardless, it will take another day to R&R the part(s). This situation is probably related to some of the issues mentioned on other threads. Sounds like some components are not up to spec or faulty.

Update 02/23/21:

Hustled down to the dealer this morning to pick up my MME. Took it for a test drive. Very cool, quick and quiet. It has a killer turning radius and no significant body roll. BTW no significant discussion about replacement parts. I have a feeling there was some user error during PDI.

Okay time to pay for it...... The dealership had no clue about Ford Options. I shared all of the program info that has been presented on this forum. They said those programs don't "belong to this VIN" (!!??) So the sales manager started tap dancing and started with the "how much do you want to pay" routine. I said BS find Ford Options and let's go. Sales manager goes away for an hour(!) and says that I'll have to come back tomorrow because Ford Credit has to update the dealer systems. Strike Two.

I'm standing by for another go round with the dealer. All in all they have been very apologetic; except for the sales manager until I schooled him on Ford Options. Thank you Ford.com .
We'll see how it goes tomorrow.
