Then this is normal behavior. Ford ACC was designed for interstates, not urban areas.

Ahh, ok thank you. I just got it all hooked up and tweeked everything else where it's perfect but that one perplexed me. Do you know if there is a setting to have the vehicle only start moving again with accelerstor push, much like it was with hands free before the Comma? That would also work just fine for me but I looked and couldn't find a way to set that. I thought maybe Dynamic Expiremntal Congrol may help with my situation but was playing it safe and haven't turned it on yet. Appreciate the help!

If you have alpha long turned off, there is a 99.9% chance it is behaving exactly like it did before the comma. Most likely, you are either hyperaware of what it is doing now that you have a new device which interacts with it, or you have subconsciously changed how you are working the gas and brake with your feet now that you are in full hands-free mode. With alpha long off, it's impossible for the comma to affect the gas and brake.

I can assure you it is off and with neither foot touching the peddles it started to go when the lead car moved my car would attempt toove forward then shudder between going and breaking fiatly rapidly (normally I'd have to tap the gas or push the confirm button to get it to go). Maybe I'll try toggling it on and off to ensure it isn't out of sink with sunnylink or something based on your statement.

Curious if you've had a chance to try 7.0 yet?

I've got the prior version fairly dialed in, so I haven't rushed to update. I still have a very subtle ping-pong going on and wondering if the new lateral control in 7.0 is going to improve that

I have been running 7.0 for a week now. I have alpha long enabled as well as enabled the new angle steering controls. It's a pretty big difference and the car feels confident in what it does now. I'd recommend this update to anyone with a comma on a Mach E.

I am really impressed with the lateral control improvement with BP7 - ping pong is gone!

I tried longitudinal with Pop v2 and am getting somewhat strange results. For example, cruise could be set to 50 mph but the car will periodically slow down for no obvious reason, or may accelerate from a stop very slowly. Also fairly jerky with the acceleration. Are you experiencing that, or are there other settings you had to tweak?

I had a random slowdown today, but it was coming up on a curve so I just wrote it off as preparing for a sharper than usual curve.

I did move my driving style to aggressive, as it has been slow to take off from a stop. I might try a few other models over the next few weeks to see if any bring in even more improvement
