iOS Widget gone?

I just saw in another group a person downloaded 5.8.3 and stated that the widgets have been removed? Can anyone corroborate this, or is he nuts?

As much as I enjoy gadgets and tech-messing, I haven't ever looked into "wearables", or smartwatches.

But this thread got me curious and I grabbed a Samsung equivalent to see what's up. Turns out FordPass does have a companion app for the Samsung watch. Pretty cool stuff.

Man did it light up when you plug into a charger. ??

After a couple of seconds it switches to some basic charging data. I think the blue ring represents SOC? And the white carrot is the target SOC?

Scroll with the watch dial and you get the rest of the available charge data.

Looks like the climate and locks are available too

The only other FordPass feature I see is vehicle location in Google Maps, as well as horn & lights?

I probably should have waited a few days for some Black Friday pricing on the gadget, but this thread got the best of me. ?

I could see the widget, but it was unresponsive. Last update was at ~1am. Deleted but could not reinstall.

I had to do a reset all settings on my iPhone since there was some navigation assistant that didn’t sound like Google Maps or Apple Maps consistently giving me directions no matter where I went. Everything was closed and I restarted my phone multiple times. After the reset of the settings that was fixed, but my FordPass widget on the home screen disappeared, and I am not able to re-add it.

I updated IOS to 18.1.1 and ford pass to 5.9.0 and was able to reinstall the widget on the home screen and it is working again.

hmmm the widget is back for me, but no longer contains anything... just a giant ford logo... Is there a setting somewhere that turns on the useful info... like it had before.

Must be a different widget mine is just a car icon that open ford pass from the home screen.

Same. The icon there but no information is being conveyed such as charge level.
