Hello everyone! I've read in other threads that others have had issues maintaining steady wireless phone charging, but has anyone not been able to get ANY phone to charge? I tried my iPhone 12 Pro Max, and a iPhone 12 Pro, and neither are able to charge, even for a second...it almost seems like the Qi charging coil isn't working. I've tried with and without the phone cases, and with and without the mat. I've also turned the phones in different orientations to see if I can get the coil to be recognized, but no luck. Just wondering if anyone out there has had a DoA wireless charger (and if I should be contacting the dealer already..)

Please don't be offended but just want to make sure you know the charging area is only on the left side. My charging works flawlessly with iPhone 12 Pro. Good luck!

Haha, no offense taken! Yeah, I've been assuming the coil is in the "silvery" rectangular area, but my experience with wireless chargers that are larger than a hockey puck is that placement is key. I was thinking about looking to see if there's a fuse for the charger that I can pull to reset it.

My iPhone 12Pro connects to charge fine but quits very quickly. It doesn't seem to hold a connection while the car is moving.

Sounds like a lack of functionality at all is not a wide-spread issue....can anyone think of a reason not to pull the fuse and re-install it? It looks like it shares a fuse with the door locks/button

I have a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. It just BARELY fits in the space of the rubber mat on there. But, because it just barely fits means it can't move around at all so mine will stay charging even while driving. The biggest drawback is that its just slow. When wireless Android Auto, the phone still loses charge even while charging. It goes down much slower, but still loses charge.

I also have the clear MagSafe case but it doesn't work with or without the case.....sigh. I'll pull the fuse and report back in case it's useful for anyone else in the future. Interestingly, I test drove the dealership's demo a week prior and it didn't charge in that vehicle either. Works fine on my desktop Qi charger though.

Have you extensively tested without the case? I could easily see why a Magsafe case would interfere (those magnets built in, may not interfere with all Qi chargers, but if the coils are in different positions...).

My iPhone 12 Pro works well enough with the built-in pad. I did have to put a small strip of rubber along the bottom of the pad to stop the phone from sliding all the way down, which would cause it to stop charging.

Still waiting for my Mach-E to arrive, but my current car has a Qi charger built in, and I can’t get a stable charging connection on my iPhone 12 Pro Max unless I take the case off (Apple MagSafe Clear)

My Samsung S10 charges with no issues. My phone protector seems to have a pretty good grip so my phone doesn't slide.
