1. "....at this time."At this time, Tesla only intends to open up ~10% of their Supercharger Network in the US. They know the advantage it gives them, and they will open some parts of it up to play nice, but there are no plans to open it all up.
2. Tesla doesn't play nice. I have no problem with that, my point is that they're doing it for a reason....likely either to get state/federal funds (which I'm hearing they can't?), or to test these for when they have to role them out to every station at a future date. Otherwise, they're just diluting their advantage.
