Leftover part after windshield recall completed

I found this under the driver's seat after my Mach E glass recalls were completed. Can anyone tell me where it goes? I don't want to drive back to the dealer if its something simple to put back on. It has double sided tape on the other side.

Hmm, just comes up as "bracket" on Ford Parts and says it is electrical. No idea, mate!

Thanks, I saw the Ford parts illustration too but this doesn’t look like a bracket to me. I’ll have to go back to the dealer to figure it out.

Email picture to dealer. "I found this laying on the floor of my car after the service was done. Is this a part that was supposed to be reinstalled? I surely hope not. Please advise."

FYI, I went to the dealer and they put this piece under the rear view mirror plastic cover inside the car.

Based on where OP ultimately found this trim piece, i.e. under the driver’s seat, and where it ultimately went, i.e. behind the rear view mirror, I’d say there is a decent chance it was improperly reinstalled and popped out on its own some time later, as opposed to being wholly forgotten, which I suppose is a bit less ‘bad’.

I just found this on the floor after having my windshield replaced. Good to know it's from the car and wasn't some sort of packaging from the windshield. I guess I'll be opening up my mirror cover to figure out where it goes.
