I have hopes we may eventually see options to retro the lighted pony! I would imagine the non-GT models will be lacking the wiring harness for the lighted pony though too, which may make retroing it a little more difficult.

looks like only '1' bolt holds the Badge in place. If the bolt is easy to access... then it should be simple to replace. However, I have yet to find a Ford Part# for it:

Blanked, this is a perfect exploded view of the front. Where did you find this?

The car built for sale in China also has an illuminated Pony. The front-end trim on that car is the same (or at least very similar) to the GT.

Yeah, but I'm sure it also has a different wiring harness. Probably the same wiring harness the GT has. Non-GTs won't have the correct wiring harness or fuses. About the only way we'd get an illuminated pony is with a glow stick or an AA battery :D (I am not butchering my car's electrical system like those radar detector people do.)

Yeah ... so I DID ASK if it was the same wiring harness (hoping the cars were pre-wired). Sadly... not the same wiring harness. So we are not pre-wired. ?

Someone needs to come out with a Mach E pony with the inside filled with PV chip, LED lighting, with motion detector and a small battery in the attachment mechanism behind the nose.

Tapping into the headlight plug using a Y splitter pigtail, so no splicing of the original cables.
Maybe something like this (of course we need to check what the MME uses for plugs...I hope they use plugs :p):

I wouldn’t want to mess with something critical like headlamps. Perhaps the emergency escape switch power?

I don't want the parachute (hood) open at me while driving ?, no secondary mechanical lock there.

Ok, the front trunk light. Can’t get more innocuous than that ?

Frunk light presumeably goes out when the Frunk is closed. Please climb in and close behind you to test. We'll await results.
