2024 Mach-E Premium AWD. I’m a new owner and love my car. However, last night in my driveway the car was started my fob and phone in car. I got out to get something in house and car locked me out. I had to use extra fob to open. How do I prevent from happening again??
Thank you!!

That strikes me as weird. I leave my fob in the car, sometimes my phone too, with it running all the time and it never locks me out. Your car was definitely 100% on? Not just the auxiliary power? Good to know your door code I guess!

One way to prevent - don't leave your fob and phone in the car when you get out....

Set your door code to something you will remember.

don't forget to carry the card you should've got when purchased that gives the keypad door access code. It's made for situations like this.

Carry the card? Why not set one that’s easy for you to remember?
I'm lazy, cards in my wallet, put it there the day I bought the car. Don't need to need to make an easier passcode for something I've never used in over three years and 2 mach es. Same reason I didn't bother set up paak on my second mach e because it came with two key fobs.
