Locking the car, using the door lock button

Is it just me, or is it often a hit and miss, when you press the lock button on the driver door?
Honestly, I feel I need to press the thing a few times.

Works for me. I have seen it take a couple of tries, but that is very rare.

I always have to touch it twice, never works on the first try but 95% of the time works on the second touch. I just give it a double tap out of habit now.

When you press the button it pings your fob or PAAK, if it doesn't get a response it won't lock the doors. If that happens, try standing back further from the car or the rear lock button instead.

People have been reporting the same behavior for years. But it usually works fine for me. Not sure why it’s different for some.

inside drivers door lock always works for me...... outside pillar codes sometimes are hard to activate.

I just always hit the inside door lock as I’m getting out of the car. I hear the confirming beep when I get a few feet away.

Try waiting for a count of say, three, before you press the button...that seems to work for me.

The problem is it isn't a push button. Swipe your finger across the lock symbol. It should increase the functionality to 90%.

I’m very happy with walk away lock. Just make sure all doors are closed before you walk away.

Naah, that also fails quite a bit for me. I just hit the button on the inside door panel. It *always* works. ?‍?
