On mine, the date under "Special Order" corresponds to the day it was sent to the plant. That's correct for mine as well (as far as I know) - I also saw somewhere else that it was the "Invoice Date", but not sure where/who mentioned that.
As long as you have a build date you can pull the VIN by following the instruction here:
They have a MachDrop so they do not have reservation account access to use that tool unfortunately. They're at the mercy of their dealers I'm afraid.

Press Ford for the VIn. If one has been assigned, they have it. They gave me mine. You just need to get someone who knows how to read the system. Dealer name address and dealer order number are all you need at Ford. just tell them your dealer hasn't returned your calls.
That's not the production date. Someone else on the threads indicated that's an invoice date generated when the car gets queued for production.That's weird mine has the blue sticker with the production date of 21 December.
Mine has been showing 'in production' on the tracker for two weeks now, and my dealer shows that 1/5 is the build date, so like you, I'll be monitoring from Monday on. My guess is another six weeks until delivery after that.
