Mach Drop Build Updates

Finally got a hold of someone at my dealership who knew what they were doing and was able to get my Mach Drop VIN. Tracker says it was produced 1/12 but still no shipping. She also told me that my Premium was produced but the tracker hasn't given me a date on that but I'm hoping that Ford's system is a little more up to date then the tracker. Looks like they'll both arrive at the same time then have a solid choice to make between my two cars

So I have two different Mach Es associated with my name, one Mach drop and the other my release night premium order (like most people here). They were both built the same day, and I hadn't added them to my Ford pass app.

I just got a notification to do remote vehicle setup, which despite not adding anything to my app I assume is my initial order.

After this I added the Mach drop FE to the app via my vin, but now the question is, if I do a remote vehicle setup, which one will it be setting up? There doesn't seem to be a way to differentiate in the app (both are carbonized grey)

In Ford app you have to add the VIN numbers so if it’s asking remote setup it’s for the VIM you added. Multiple cars show as drop downs in the app.

I thought that would be the case, however before I added any vin the option/prompt showed up despite not having it added.

My "In Transit" Drop to Maryland, still says 40 days. Geeze, I could ride a bicycle home in that amount of time. Such a slow process. But at least it's on the way...

My MachDrop produced on 1/9 is officially in transit with an ETA of 2/11! Interestingly, my Premium produced on 1/7 has not shipped yet. I was hoping they'd arrive on the same truck so I could choose.

They might. What we've seen is cars loaded on multiple consecutive days end up on the same train arriving in KC. Remember that the Cuautitlan plant has enough room for 36 autoracks at most. Trains are much longer. If they have sufficient autoracks, they will stack them up on sidings until they are joined to a train, often multiple days worth of cars at once.

Yep, we are gaining sunlight at 7 minutes a day now. My car is already on its way. Should be in KC any tIme - then on to Seattle and a date with a barge to Anchorage. Estimated delivery 1st week of March. Not a Mach Drop, though - Standard FE order.
